well I was talking to my best friend about me and my boyfriend and how one day we might get married me and my bf. he talked about the bachelor party and wrote some stuff, so i put it together and made this story. strange enough- bf proposes halfway through me writing 24th. happy celebrations right? bullshit cos then i post it and got a lot of hate over a fucking colour.

1038566 i might finish the story cos Magic Apples is based on our relationship. but next time someone pressures me into hurrying i'll shout in their face. and i dont see point in writing if everypony is getting major butthurt over a colour. and if im the lazy one for changing colour instead of writing "x said" "x said" over and over when clicking and dragging off some writing is much easier.

The colours are unconventional but I think that's part of the charm. It's a great means of showing who is talking, allowing a reader to read whilst 'hearing' the proper voices from the start. The general "... ," said this pony is much the same but in hind sight. The only advantage to using "...," said this pony is that you can describe with what emotion something is said or weave it into an action, which you tend to describe within the context surrounding the dialogue or thoughts anyway.

Keep in mind that the writing should be for you primarily. make sure you enjoy writing it and what you've written. Everyone enjoys different styles and content so there will always be people that may not appreciate it as much as you might hope, but luckily there will most certainly also be those that will ^^
