    Happy New Year 2017

To my friends, followers, and people who stumbled upon my page,

I wish you all a Happy New Year from Texas.

Not much to say about the up coming year, all I can hope from the world of fanfiction is that I can finish up my current Kantai Collection ideas and maybe do some more MLP.

Now I feel old... · 12:09am Apr 27th, 2013

To my Friends, Watchers, and people who stumbled up on this page,

Today I received a starling revelation, my favorite video game came out over 20 years ago... I'm currently 23. I knew that I must faced the fact when Pokemon turns 20 but now I find out that Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past came out in 1992 and that Nintendo will be releasing a sequel to the SNES game come Christmas. The feeling of oldness is tempered by the great joy of playing a new Zelda game on the 3DS later in the year.

Well... here's to the new game, and damnation to Ganon!

Signed in the Name of Her Serene Majesty Celestia Everfree,
Celestia's Paladin

Wow. 1992?

My oldest game I played was Link's Awakening DX in 1996 on my Gameboy Color. I felt old seeing it on the eShop.

Meh, at least it's one of the highest rated games on the eShop. Congrats on getting to play it again! Now to wait for The Wind Waker's HD remake.

Tell me about it, I wasn't even in Kindergarten yet, and I still remember coming home from day care and seeing my brother playing LttP on the SNES.

Still got my copy of Link's Awakening DX, and since according to Hyrule Historia Link's Awakening and the Oracle subseries all use the same Link... well I wonder were LttP2 fits in.

Link to the Past or Link's Awakening?

I've seen screenshots of the remaster, they have done some improvements. I suppose while we wait I can try to finish Skyward Sword or perhaps say screw it and download one of the fanmade game.

My sisters had a SNES and played Super Mario World daily. I got into Tetris Attack when I was in fourth grade.

Plus, LttP was the last one in that timeline, since that Link was the final hero.

Uh no... by most fan timelines and the official one from Nintendo LttP is not. IN fact by the official one LoZ1 takes place after LttP. In that branch of the timeline (in which ht Hero of Time got his ass handed to him by Ganondorf) is LttP--->Oracle Saga--->Link's Awaking--->LoZ--->Adventure of Link

Pokemon Turns 20? Man I feel old.
Wait, Pokemon came out in 1996 in Japan.
It is 2013 now.

2012 - 1996 =17.
Look I know I am old, I was 16 when Pokemon came out, I am now 32 (not 36).

Although knowing nothing of the series, I discovered Pokemon at 19 as a game boy game where players capture and battle monsters. Dismissing the cartoonish graphics as a limitation of the game boy (because you know us 80's kids value game play and story over visuals).

LoZ: Link to the Past has turned 20.

Considering in the 80s there wasn't much in the way of visuals. And looking back at when Ocarina of Time came out, damn we thought that was hot stuff.

*does the math on my age when this was posted, and realize that I was 25*

I'm old, my fellow Paladin.
I know I don't look it, but I'm beginning to feel it in my heart.
I feel thin and worn.
Sort of stretched, like butter spread over too much bread.
Worn away, like a d20 used for over 10 characters, across 3 different systems.

The greys in my beard are steadily increasing, and now I'm getting greys in my head hair, and it's distressing.
