First Weekly Word Quota (a chance for you all to hurt me emotionally)

As you may remember, I was planning on taking suggestions from you guys as to how many words I should write in a week. Seeing as I have an entire week of vacation coming up, I figure I should start now! My book (not Into the Fire) is primed and ready to be worked on, so don't be too easy on me! Well, it's Sunday. I was going to post this on Friday like normal, but... I guess I was hoping to make some progress this weekend. So much for that! Weekly Update! (And more!) · 8:41pm Apr 26th, 2013

So once again I find myself at the end of a week, totally unsatisfied with the progress I've made on my story. Good news though: 4,300 words done so far! Ever since I decided to set time aside (almost) every day to write, I have made slow and steady progress. At this rate, it shouldn't take too long to get the next chapter up for you guys! I am really excited about this chapter; I found myself laughing out loud as I wrote certain parts.

In other news, our school had a day at the park today. With all the smaller children around, some of them were bound to see my Rainbow Dash t shirt; lo and behold, a little second grader comes up to me and says, "You're wearing a My Little Pony shirt? That's weird!" Ah, kids. Anyway, stay tuned! More writing is on the way!
