My the Best Pet Win

Wow, those parakoopas have gone high tech.

While this episode isn't quite as awesome as the first few episodes season 2 started with, it was still an enjoyable episode with a well written story, good moral message, lots of references, and just oozing with adorable antics. But perhaps the most interesting aspect of the episode is that it has the first song of the second season entitled "Find a Pet Song." The song itself isn't as catchy as some of the other songs Ingram has written, but it is a well written song with some clever lyrics, good beat, and it is really cool to see Fluttershy and Rainbow actually having a duet together.

There's also two other things I find interesting. One, Rainbow appearently has no audio when she cries. Two, something is derping inside Fluttershy's chicken coop.
