Nothing major, just thought I'd throw up some news on the next chapter.
It's about 75-80% done.
It's currently 24.5 pages and 12,565 words long in Word.
And that's not including all the stuff I still have to add, the extra punches I have to make to the scenes, etc. In other words, this one might actually beat Chapter 10 as the longest chapter in the fic, because there is no way the rest will be half as long.
It also has a scene that I might censor, since it is rather gruesome. In keeping spoilers to a minimum, it involves a flashback where Celestia confronts Discord after his takeover. It...ends badly. REALLY badly.
But yeah, chapter should be up by this weekend if all goes well. See you then!

Gruesome is fine so long as it fits within the narrative. Certainly Kuchan's little escapades were gruesome, but they showed his decline into utter, ball-shriveling bats**t insanity.

Holy crap dude, 12,500 words and not even done? Can't wait to read it, but no need to rush it, take your time. Quality over quantity and all that, but having both is even better! Man I'm hyped for this new chapter...
Also if you absolutely feel like you need to cut that scene out, make sure you put it online somewhere.

Do want, as long as its in a tasteful narrative way. or maybe you should release it as separate alternative?
is it Cupcakes gruesome? Or Sweet Apple Acres Massacre gruesome? If not I think we can handle it.
I'm looking forward to reading it, just like everyone else. Gruesome will be fine, if it's properly a part of the story, but then again, from you, that's really just a given.
Bring the gruesome. And if it is a flashback, then you can give an A/N to stop reading or something. That would be the best of both world censor IMO.
Can't wait for the new chapter though.
