Twilight's Journal Entry 01- Small Beginnings– 59 Day Before Incident
Small Beginnings.
I must be out of my mind. I fear that I might be making the same mistake Fluttershy did when she brought the Parasprite into her home. But this creature is definitely not one of those. I've never seen anything like it, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I ran into the animal by chance after leaving Zecora's place. The little guy just walked right onto the path in front of me. As I walked past him I knew I couldn't leave him there. He was so incredibly small- only a few centimeters long, with most of it being a tail. I feared that if I left him he'd get stepped on or worse yet, a hungry Manticore might come by. So I levitated him in the air and carried him home. He's in my basement lab for the moment and I promised myself that I wouldn't keep him for too long. Currently I'm unsure what stage in life he is, however I am hoping that he does turn out to be a newborn. Needless to say, I am very excited for what the future holds.
