Programming Note · 9:16am Apr 12th, 2013
Spring In Her Step failed moderation the first time — I hadn't made it adequately clear that humanized Sweetie Belle was aged-up — so I put in a little fix and resubbed it. Hopefully it will pass muster and be up by tonight.
Another note, mostly for anyone who might want to contact me like YA or Isseus: I have errands to run this morning before work, will be in a daze on my return, and will probably check my PMs and emails before going straight to sleep. I need to wake up earlier if I'm going to keep my writing schedule with a full time job, so I'm turning in earlier too.
As for my actual programming schedule, for ponyfics I've got a little editing to do for Issie-pie involving a controversial pair of maids, a story trade for a certain infamous clopscribbler, and a videogame-crossover-collaboration with Your Antagonist.
Stay fresh, homies,
Chuck
Why would humanized Sweetie Belle need to be aged up? Was there a change in the submission rules which says, "No humanized blank flanks?"
I must have missed the memo which said that humanized-versions of fictional fillies were off limits for clopfics.
I'm tempted to write one just to see what happens.

"Stories with barely any punctuation. We don't judge stories on their content, but stories without a basic level of grammar will be failed"
ಠ_ಠ
I'm calling bullshit right now. I have seen at least 3 stories with atrocious grammar (and punctuation) that have not only been let onto the site, but also somehow made it to the featured box.

I can see why they'd do it — it's a simple judgement of 'no artistic merit' away from counting as underage pr0n and being either questionably legal or flagrantly illegal. That's the reason I aged it up at all. I think it would work better as a story where Sweetie Belle was about 14-15, because the guilt and shame and horrible, depraved pleasure he'd feel at everything would be that much more powerful, not to mention the constant, gripping fear it would being. However, I am aware that I have written things that could get me fired from many jobs if they were ever attached to my name. I have no desire to write things that could get me on a register or prison time if attached to my name.
