    First blog post of mine.

I felt like sharing some of my poetry that I had to write for school, so I came here. It is about Vinyl Scratch and Octavia, my OTP. I had to present this to a group of strangers, which I thought was fun. It is a free verse poem, but it was almost a sonnet. The difference is that my poem doesn't follow iambic pentameter. It also has a rhyme scheme of AB-AB instead of the usual AA-BB, in which the A= lines 1 and 3 and B= lines 2 and 4. There is a reference to "Vinyl and Octavia: University Days" by DawnFade.

Two individuals who like to play,
but are different in every way.
One with a pair of violet shades that never leave her eyes,
and the other always wears her pink bow tie.
One with a cello that she will always cherish,
the other with turntables and records that will never perish.
Two shades of electric blue,
mingling with a single melancholy hue.
One with a coat as white as a blank musical sheet,
and the other with a coat of gray mixing in like snow does with sleet.
Their music is different in all forms,
but they played together in their college dorm.
And they have realized that as long as they stay together,
their love may just last forever.
