Hello everyone! Well, the secrecy ends now! I've been working on a special alicorn Twilight story, and now that it's safely in the hands of the mods, I can give you a little more info about it.
My new story is called "She Will Always Be Your Twilight" and is 7,681 words long. It's one of my typical human x pony romantic clopfics. The reason for the lack of details was that I haven't seen many human x alicorn Twilight stories show up, and I was hoping to be one of the first. Anyway, more than the originality of this tale, I'd like to tell you why I decided to write this. First off, I know some of you thought it odd that I'm working on another Twilight story, right after posting the last one, but the idea for this came while I was working on that one. I watched the season 3 finale three times. Now, I'll admit, at first I wasn't too nuts about this development. Mainly because the episode felt rushed, but after taking time to let it all sink in and note the positive aspects of the episode, like Celestia's beautiful song. I had a chance to think about a number of things. First off, from the beginning Twilight was building to this change. Secondly, it's not like she won't still be the Twilight we know and love. After Celestia told her that she's a princess, Twilight asked, "Is there a book about being a princess I should read?" When I heard her say that, I knew she was still the same Twilight.
The more I pondered this whole ascension of Twilight's and the reactions of the fans, the more I got to thinking....how does Twilight feel about all of this? You know, she never asked to become an alicorn. All she did was try to help her friends by reversing the spell she cast. Then I got to thinking, how can this work into a story. Well, one thing let to another and thanks to some great pics on Deviant Art, I found more resolve that suggested this tribute to Twilight was needed.
So I hope you will all check out my story. I've spent close to a month planning and working on it, and trying to make it another of my feel provoking tales. With that all said, I have some pics of alicorn Twilight for you to enjoy. The ones I found with her crying really touched my heart and got me thinking, why should we hate her just because she's gained a crown and wings? It doesn't mean she's going to change and become a whole different pony, does it? Oh, and wait till you see the cover pic! It tugs at my heart every time I look at it!

Don't worry, the new tale isn't a sad fic, it just has the normal manly tear sheding content, like some of my tales have. Well, I hope anyway.
I haven't saw last episode of 3rd season but seeing last 2 pic of Twilight, it make me want to embrace her close.

I honestly have laid my feelings with her transformation to rest -- everything would have gone so much smoother, if this plainly wasn't abrupt and thrown in midway: if there was much more active development toward this change, and it wasn't dropped like a rock on the show, and the fans....but this isn't the place for this.
I've seen so many wonderful and articulate reasons to praise or despise the changes that the show has gone through, and in all honesty, I'm done thinking about it....I simply want to enjoy the show for what it's worth - everyone's opinion should be respected whatever they feel, though I will continue to watch the show, and enjoy the ride for what it is...like the changes or not, I refuse to stop watching out of respect for, well....simply put, I love this show, this fandom ....I love it all too much to just drop it, and I feel others should be the same, even you don't like where it's going.
Anyway, I'm going to stop myself right there, because the days for going into huge speeches about this matter are passed, I feel.....I'm happy to see a new one-shot about Alicorn Twilight, Jaydex
- you said you were going to do something like this, for quite awhile, and I'm happy to finally see it come to pass. I am curious to know...is this tied in with your previous Twilight story? As in, is this the same "You" as in that story, and this presumably takes place later on in their relationship after Twilight has ascended? It would be a real treat if it was =3
And I have to say....to be perfectly honest? I thought she looked like, in Rarity's own words, like a tank before...but I'm really starting to like Twilight's Princess outfit - she looks really adorable in that thing, even if it makes her look wider

I've never liked Twilight Sparkle, don't know what you're talking about. But I could read and enjoy this.

Those who hate it because she's now a princess, I say... Tough! She acknowledged her friends during her coronation, and to me, that's a true friend! She didn't get all high-and-mighty with her new title, which just elevates her in my eyes, and in my heart. It's odd that I've come to relate so much to the show and the ponies, but you know what? Haters are gonna hate, so lets let Alicorn Twilight let them know how she feels about it...

I suppose it could be worth a read. But as for those pictures, well, my neutrality hasn't lifted even by a tiny iota.
If I knew Twilight, she wouldn't really want this. She would have to endure outliving her friends, and her family. Twilight, being the polite pony she is, was probably too nervous to tell Princess Celestia or anyone for that matter that she doesn't feel like she can take the grief and stress of losing her friends and family to time and would isolate herself from making anymore friends which would counteract all she has learned and what she stands for as a princess. In my opinion I'm happy for Twilight becoming a princess, but I also feel bad for her when the enevitable comes.

I didn't like the whole alicorn Twilight thing either I felt and still feel it is too soon and really despised the finale with a passion. But have calmed down considerably and am anxiously waiting for season 4 which I am sure will work out if Hasbro backs off and lets the writers do their jobs which they tend to do for the most part anyway. One good thing that has come out of this though is it has actually reminded of why I like Twilight so much, it actually bumped her up from my 2nd favorite pony her tying with Applejack and Luna for my favorite.
With that said I do look forward to seeing where you take this story, Twilight didn't ask for this and hearing her thoughts about it would be interesting.

That blog story fell off, due to storyline issues. I tried for a simple show-based concept but the plot kept evolving beyond what I have time to work on. This is something entirely different, but should be quite enjoyable.
