Or maybe I'm not sorry · 12:36am Apr 2nd, 2013
Well, as many ... okay most ... fine, almost all of you gathered I am not stopping production on False Masks or leaving the site. Apparently, mine was not the most original of April Fool's jokes, but I'd like to think it was convincingly written at least. Besides the bit about being low on time was no joke yeesh sometimes my deadlines are a pain. Anyway, I'm afraid you lot are stuck with me so here's to many more stories about candy colored ponies based on a children's card game TV show.
Oh, and the next chapter of False Masks should be out in about a week.
I only took it seriously because it showed up at 10pm yesterday. Fucking timezones screwing up everything.
And there was much rejoicing.
We knew you wouldn't abandon us, Mr. Butcher. Forget your Agent! You have ponies!
You had me going there, you sly dog.
>but I'd like to think it was convincingly written at least
Sure thing, Psychic.
I'm just kidding, you awesome writer you.
It was pretty obvious, though.
I cannae abide this difference in timezones. Gorram Englishmen...
I didn't fall for it but I found the subtle allusions to the ongoing joke about you secretly being Jim Butcher kinda funny.
I understand you have to maintain this fiction for liability reasons, but we all know the truth.
Almost had me going. Not too bad, Jim. Not too bad.
Like I said, it was close. Yours was one of the most normal sounding, well done ones. Keep up the good work, man. You're pretty spectacular.
Well I thought it was brilliant.

That comment paired with your avatar made me laugh until my sides hurt.
Ow.
I see that you have denied leaving the site and stopping Dresden Fillies, but not your admission of being Jim.
We all know the truth.
It was very convincingly written.
Heck, it had me convinced for a minute, after reading Knighty's post and doing some trolling of my own in those comments about fimfiction gold. Time zone differences may have helped, but you nailed the tone.

Well.......damn....thats what I get for getting on fimfiction early in the morning and not looking at the date. Had me going all day.
Ah the joys of walking into a room (or the equivalent of) after someone has told a joke. Don't know what's going on or why people are laughing and feeling incredibly lost.
Honestly, if it weren't for the date, you might have had me fooled.
It was convincingly written. It took a whole fifteen minutes for me to catch on. That is, after I got over the whole "AHA! IT REALLY WAS HIM! ....and now he's gone." Knee jerk reaction. I don't care one way or the other if you are Mr. Butcher, Dresden Fillies is awesome.
If it makes you feel any better, I was completely fooled and utterly devastated for the evening...Hells bells, the end of Dresden (and Bob!) is a fate too horrible to comprehend!
Huzzah, the Bob fun has been infinity-ed!
