To my Friends, Watchers, and people who stumbled up on this page,
So this morning I woke to see that Polutron had replaced Knightly as the head honcho of the site and instituted a number of changes including the Gold Membership (the only change being a gold bar next to our name and off colored name tag) and the banning of HiE fics. Since this came out on April First I knew it had to be a joke, there was nothing new with my membership and I still see HiE fics in the archives. So a show of hands who hear is taking this seriously, and who knows that we have all been tricked.

it's all April Fools. though I must admit, I would sincerely love to see Poultron take the site over from knighty. or even better, hand control over to Alexstrazsa (sp?). Nic Cage everywhere.

I really hope they can put as much effort in fixing the problem with ePub downloads and allowing symbols and punctuations in names as they did with the joke.

Technically, that was an aside. He was trying to kick it down the hall, not at me. I only mentioned it as it connected to the whole "Scars" meme I was working with. ...still wound up with three stitches and a scar for life, though.
More on topic, I was fat, has Asperger's Syndrome (not that anyone knew what that was back then), teachers only ever see the victim react, and the bullies at my school were smart enough to exploit that educational blind spot for all it was worth. There are days looking back that I'm still shocked that I never got expelled from all the times I got sent to the Principle's Office over something someone else did to me.

What again leaves me 50-50 since it still could ALL be a Hoax.
This whole thing they either went overboard with it what just makes them assholes, or they are serious and are assholes for doing it on April Fools day.
Either way to me they just end up assholes and ill be especially disappointed by Wanderer D if this is a hoax.
If you do a joke for april fool's day then make it a joke or a prank, but not a lie to see how much people you can upset.

Well this is, needlessly elaborate.
I have to say, I'm more confused than anything else. Not by how much of this is true (although that in and of itself is very confusing), but also by the quandary that if aspects of this are true, why announce them on a day when people are going to have trouble taking such announcements seriously? Furthermore, why tie it into the joke? There's no reason for it, and it's just going to leave people perplexed and irritated when all is said and done.
At least Rooster Teeth has an excuse; their company was founded on April 1st. You can expect serious updates from them on that day to be serious. This, this is just baffling. Maybe Discord would be amused, but I am not.
