Sometimes I write words but mostly I just sit around like a big sack of meat and read.
They're doing all these things on April Fool's Day, so I'm inclined to think it's a joke. But then they're being all serious about it, and even though I know it's a joke, I'm still starting to get a little worried. I'm not sure what to believe, but if it is an April Fool's joke, then it's a damned good one. Anyone else even the slightest bit worried?

Apparently the Gold Accounts are a real thing, although they're just in a testing phase at the moment. We won't get to keep them, I'm assuming they'll ultimately be used as some way of denoting site donors or something.

I'm not so sure. However, I'm pretty certain the "No HIE fics after tomorrow" is a joke though, since the site owners aren't so stupid as to alienate 50% of their userbase.
