An intro to my plans · 8:39am Mar 30th, 2013
Hello,
I would like to start off by explaining my plans for this blog, although I realize at this moment the only people likely to read this are my friends. Regardless, it can be helpful to openly state plans for something, kind of forcing you to stick to it more.
I plan on trying out doing a dramatic reading. I am starting with a story I had read before, Fluttershy's Guardian. I am not sure that I am suited to do dramatic readings, but I might as well try it out. If I find out I suck at it, I will probably not make more, though I still might occasionally for fun.
Another thing I am planning on doing is writing a fic. Again, I am not sure how well I will do with it. I have written a draft of the preface for it, but I have not yet come up with important aspects, such as a character name or a story title. I currently plan on releasing the preface and chapter one at the same time, as currently the preface is only around 200 words. While I do plan on expanding it, I can also see that there is not really much need to.
In the mean time, I currently release blog posts on my tumblr, Builderpony.tumblr.com of each episode. I am going in order, so I am still only at about episode 10 of season one, releasing a reflection of the next episode on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I call these reflections for a reason. They are very unedited and for the most part stream of consciousness. They are also highly based on my opinion and perception of the characters and the episode. I still think some might find it interesting though.
I do welcome constructive criticism. There is always room for improvement in anything anyone does, so feel free to, once I release stuff, comment on how I can improve.
