Edit II - I was going to post an new blog, but I'm just too sleepy right now. I do have some good news. My creativity is back, but I need to recharge my batteries before I can tackle any writing. The good news is that I set up the next scene of my current story and I finally feel connected to it again! Plus I'm really feeling psyched about starting my Rainbow Dash fic. I can hardly wait! Plus my next blog...will be my 200th blog!! So I want to make it something special! Till later! - Jaydex
EDIT - FINALLY!! I was able to connect to my muse again, just now!! I was going over the last scene I left off on my current story and managed to smooth it over and prep it for the next scene. And, I even got my creative thought process back online again! I was taking a little break and it came to me how to lead into the next scene, so I could bridge the two scenes together! This is great!! What a feeling! =D
Hello again, everyone! My apologies for not personally responding to your comments in my last blog. Sadly, the time just isn't there. But, I do have some good news! I found out last night that, even though I have to work Good Friday, I will have Saturday Night and Sunday Night off. So this marathon or work madness will soon be over. I just have to survive a 12-hour shift tonight and then one final 8-hour shift Friday Night. Then Saturday morning I can finally chill for a little!
In addition to this news, I'm finally starting to feel a little morel like myself again. I might be able to hop back into my current Twilight project and get things moving again. But I will be resting up in preparation for this 12-hour shift tonight.
As for your feedback to the two surveys. I enjoyed hearing about your favorite ponies. And, I am equally thankful for your feedback on a story being able to have merit, even if the plot is rather simplistic, but well-written. As always you've given me plenty to think about, and I am grateful.
Thank you all for your continued support. And can you believe my new story "For Whom She Sparkles" has 800 people following it?! That's awesome! I'm looking forward to continuing this new story, I just need to get back on track with a few things first. But I have started planning more of chapter 3, so hopefully I can get working on it before too long. I've also been getting quite a few questions about when my next Redheart story will be out. I'm still planning that one as well, so again we'll have to see. My current projects are: My Secret Twilight Story, my Rainbow Dash story, and another chapter of Celestia's story. Plus I do want to update my Dragon Ball Z/My Little Pony Crossover at some point as well. Just never fear, I have no intention of stressing over any of this, and my schedule is tentative. So, nothing is in stone. But after my current story, I'd like to give Rainbow Dash some attention. I think she's waited long enough now.

Actually, that happens more than you know. There are times I'm in the middle of a project and have to follow the inspiration to another story or character. Usually I can stay focused on one thing at a time.
Right now I'd just like some time off to rest and be able to reconnect to my muse. I miss the relaxing release that comes from writing, but I've been too tired to do it lately.
Hopefully once this 12-day work marathon comes to a end, I'll be there again. 
Hey everypony! Guess who's back and OH MY GOD I 60 NOTIFICATIONS!?!?! Dear Celestia i knew i was gone for a long time but 60 notifications??? Anyway i have really really really missed you Jay! I am now using an extremely old laptop that my brother-in-law was "kind" enough to lend to me. The thing is like 10 pounds heavy and dosen't have wi-fi. Hell it still has a floppy disk port on it for God's sake! But i can't complain since mine is still busted. Anyway,i am really sorry for my long absence, what have i missed? You didn't miss too much. I added a chapter to my Celestia story and posted my Twilight Sparkle Story. I was ill during the last week of February and fell behind on my projects, and my job has had me working a bit of a marathon the past two weeks. But I'm finally feeling like I'm back on track again...but more than that - I've reconnected to myself.

The FF community likes to paint her in many different shades; some good, some bad and some "What?". And while I've not written about any pony as feisty as Rainbow Dash before, I found outlining her story to be quite fun. There are several aspects of her character I plan to have fun with, including challenging some preconceived notions about her. I think it should be a very good story, and for some reason I think clop/love scenes with Rainbow will be sweet and at the same time really hot!

As for Derpy, I used to be more anti-single mother Derpy, but who can resist Dinky? She's just too adorable, and Derpy seems even cuter and more lovable as a single parent, so I thought, since many Derpy fans like her with Dinky, I'd work with that. Then I thought, wouldn't it make my story even more evolved if "you" might end up filling the role as a surrogate father for Dinky?

You're right about Rainbow Dash - indeed, as before, it sounds like the story with her will be very different than the previous ones you've made, really because of how much fun Rainbow is....she is active, energetic, and ready for action...all the women you've done before (Twilight, Nurse Redheart, Aloe and Lotus, Celestia) are all sweet and endearing, and while it's not like Rainbow isn't the same by a long shot, none of them really have the kind of spark that Dashie has....that childlike excitement and vigor -- all the women you've done are full of love and surprises, but Dashie is quite different and unique, and it can be hard to keep up with her

I love the direction you are going with Derpy.....indeed, Derpy is vastly more endearing as a mother, and Dinky....who doesn't like that adorable little foal?
-- I went into a lot of scenarios and ideas when you first brought this story up in a previous blog, but the idea of "You" becoming a surrogate father who bring these two beautiful people together is as sweet as they come -- you've never really done a story like that before: that "you" can not just make life happier for this woman who really deserves it for all sorts of reasons (loss of spouse, however he was, perhaps years of bullying because of her eyes and general clumsiness etc), but for this little girl as well who may have never really known her father before.....and perhaps "You" wasn't exactly perfect either -- maybe he had family problems as well.
That three people like this, who are all missing something in their lives, could come together and harmonize and fit with each other so well...It's the kind of simplicity and sweetness which attracts so many people to the canon episodes. The only way the story could be any sweeter, if if "You" and Derpy actually officially got married (*hint hint
) - I can't think of anything topping that.

Not to sound like a jerk but the updates for your current stories are already extremely spaced out (see YBmD Chapters 5-6 for an example). Are you sure it's a good idea to start a new one, especially considering you just did that with the twific?
