New clopfic "Sleeping Rainbow" · 8:43am Mar 26th, 2013
So, I suddenly got the idea for this fic and decided to write it out. As for the few suggestions I got for my next fic, I will do those soon. I just wanted to write this one first, since I had the whole story in my head already. In case you are wondering, my next clopfic shipping pairs will be, Derpy Hooves X Vinyl Scratch, and Rarity X Fluttershy. So look forward to those. Being a DerpyLight and OctaVinyl fan, instinct screams at me to be disinterested in a Vinyl/Derpy... but I wasn't even interested in those first two pairings in the first place until I actually read them, and reading fics on this site has caused me to take interest in a great many different pairings. So the logical part of me is screaming "READ IT! It's NEW AND STRANGE!" And that's the part I'm going to listen to. Rarity/Fluttershy was my favorite pairing even before I started reading pony fanfiction, so I'm already anticipating that.
I absolutly loved "Proving your Friendship". When I read the title, I was gearing up to give what-for on what I thought it would be about, and then I was like "Oh. That's not what it's about at all...and hey this is really good!".
Clopfics tend to live up to their reputation of not being very good, at leas the ones I read. I don't know what it is about them. I'm certainly not against pony sex. Some depraved part of me likes knowing that the characters got it on..along with all the legitimate romance, regardless of whether or not the scene is actually described or just skipped over. But it just seems clopfic writers tend to adopt the attitude "eh it's clop so the heck with the effort." I wont be expecting that though since your last story was highly sexual (without being clop) and didn't skimp out in quality in the slightest. Another issue i have with clopfics is that they're so ridiculously gross...I mean, I don't know about everypony else but I find saliva bridges to be rare IRL, easily avoided....and gross. Also clopfic writers use way too much sickening adjectives that make it sound like they're having sex with a pile of semi-solid lumpy snot. But we'll see where this goes. (Eh, it's your choice whether you want to go that route. I'm going to predict not though because the love-making you presented between Pinkie Pie and Twilight was extremely tasteful and sweet. unless my memory serves me wrong) Are these going to be romances? (I ask because often times clop is just about the sex and only about the sex. Though if characters are only thinking about sex at the time, then consider dating after the fact, I still consider that romantic)...don't answer these questions if you think they're spoilers. I'm just very interested.

) How long did it take you to do "Proving your Friendship" from idea conception to posting it?
I don't really expect you to know the answer to that, exactly. Vague guesstimation?
I am very optimistic a bout these hmm.
