Just for the giggles of having a little bit of background history put up before I truly start to delve into the chapters of this tale, why not create a post specifically for it?

This originally had started out as an eerie song I had jokingly written for a character which was originally completely innocent. A grimdark sweep took over the internet and I thought, just for fun, why not draw something that could be relatively and suggestively creepy around a totally normal character? Thus, the Feather Blessed Genocides cover was made. I began obsessively writing strange songs for poor Mask and soon threw it into an album, letting them tell their own horrifying tale behind one very dark, sketchy picture drawn in the deaths of the night. It was after this first night that my mind truly began spinning the tale behind how Mask really got her cutie mark and where her name even came from. Well, her true name at least. Yay for not revealing spoilers, right? Just about anything can have a dark spin on it when you begin thinking in-depth on it. And Mask has taken a turn for the strange.
