Greetings my friends! Before I finish working on chapter 2 of my Twilight fic, I just wanted to take a moment to respond to your feedback from the survey in my last blog.
First off, I want to say one of the reasons I love this fandom is because of the "tolerance" we offer each other. It's something I will always be grateful for. As I suspected, a number of you don't like the whole pee thing, while the majority don't mind it but don't generally go for that sort of thing. I thank you all for sharing your opinions and any of you that didn't respond yet, please feel free to do so even if you didn't get a chance to reply right away. My surveys don't really end. So even if you don't get to reply till days later, I'll still be happy to read your responses. =D
Now, I noticed that those of you who tolerate it, even if it's not your thing, noted that it doesn't bother you if scenes like that make up only part of a story or are at least well written. Rest assured when I do use such content, I don't generally make it the focal point of my stories, it's only one aspect. And despite its nature I try to present it in a tasteful and sensual way. Plus what you've read in my stories is as far as I tend to delve into that fetish.
I was asked by a few if I will be doing other fetishes in any of my stories, such as Anthro or BDSM. There is no simple yes or no answer here. I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole Anthro fetish. The reason I love writing about these ponies is because they are ponies. Their lack of hands, breasts, and other typical human features as well as not walking like bipeds is what makes creating these stories so enjoyable. It's different. Still, it's not to say I won't ever consider doing an Anthro story. A few of my followers have written some very good Anthro stories that may eventually help me change my opinion on it.
As far as other fetishes go. Most of the ones many of you know and may be into just aren't for me. I'm not into Rape, Rape Fantasies, BDSM, Dominating, Scat, Vore, or basically anything that's designed to humiliate and inflict pain. I don't like causing others pain, and seeing others in pain makes me weep on the inside. I know my dislikes may seem weird of me, given my enjoyment from the pee fetish, but that's just me. Besides, my enjoyment of that fetish mostly stems from it's taboo nature, curiosity from the difference between the sexes, a love of watching water flow (ie: fountains, streams, waterfalls, rivers, oceans, rain, etc.), and the fact that it's tied into the sex organs and causes a pleasant release of endorphins, which makes the simple watching an intriguing form of foreplay. I've often spent time disliking myself for being into it, and asking myself why? That's when as I thought about it, I came up with the reasons I mentioned above. Why did I just share that with you? Maybe understanding my connection to it will give you a better idea of why I even considered writing such content into my stories in the first place, in addition to the fact that there are others that enjoy it as well.
One fetish I would enjoy writing about in one of my stories would be role-playing. There is plenty of fun and creativity to be had there. Like for instance, I am thinking about having a pony dress up and play the role of maid for one of my human characters. Not sure which yet, but it's an idea I really like.
But to recap, you don't have to worry. Pee scenes won't make up too many of my stories and even if they do they will play only a small role, like they do in my Redheart series. In fact as it currently stands, the only story I have in the works right now that has any pee scenes planned, is my Rainbow Dash story - "Making the Rainbow Shine" but again there will be two scenes and they will only make up a small part of the story. That and I just had an idea that Rainbow could pull of such a scene in a very sensual manner, courtesy of some suggestive rule 34 fan art I saw. But, the story will mostly focus on "your" relationship with Rainbow Dash and how she deals with an audition for the Wonderbolts. Plus I have a plan to challenge some of the long held ideas about her. After seeing her display a softer side in some of the episodes, "The Last Round-Up" springs to mind. At the end she was crying with the others, before she caught herself. That suggested to me that maybe behind the closed door of a bedroom, that Rainbow Dash might be different as a lover. So that's one aspect my story will be about.
Thank you all for putting up with my occasional use of that quirk. And like I said, it's not planned for many of my fics, just some. I do thank you all for sharing your opinions. This is what I like in this fandom too. Most of us tolerate, in the real world too.
Well, tied up scenes can be pleasurable too. No whips or anything, just tied up to bed and the pair does they enjoyment. That one is what i like, which is a fetish. But yeah, pain in these moments are not that good...
I see you really don't like violence. Even if its a playful thing in those moments. Sadly, I cannot sympathize with you, since I pretty much warned my readers about a REALLY gory part in one of my story. And I did it several times... But I do agree, that sometimes, its just really not good to hear about it.
I'm looking forward for more of your work. The Rainbow one is promising.

Thanks for your comment, Adam. And it's not to say I wouldn't be curious about the whole handcuffs or tied up thing, but leave the pain at the door. But I do understand where you're coming from. And for the most part you're right, I'm not keen on violence, unless it's in like say a video game or an epic RPG story like Final Fantasy or a typical action movie, like for example "The Dark Knight Rises" or "The Avengers". But as long as people put up warnings about fetish content or violence content (along with the tags), I have no issues with what they write about. And, I don't mind what any of you are into either, that's where the tolerance comes in, which again is why I love this fandom! Besides, to each their own.
I really need to write my Rainbow Dash story. I've had the idea since last August or September, and Rainbow really would like it if I finally wrote her story.

You know, this is one of the reasons why you are liked so much around here. You actually talk to us, and share about yourself, instead of just random story updates in their blogs.
It would be a treat if your did write an antjro story, but it is up to you. Though I have to say tghat anthropomorphic ponies are much better then humanized. Since they are still technically ponies.
I guess by you reason for enjoying such a fetish means that you will never include anal in one of your stories, since it is pretty mainstream now. Oh well.
As for everything else, to each his own.
Also, the storu Xenophilia did the whole tieing up thing very well. I think you might like how they did it. Plis it might also help you get in the mood for your Rainbow Dash story.

You know, part of what I enjoy from being here on FIM is getting to talk to all of you. It helps me stay focused on my stories and allows me to get to know all of you.
Now I honestly forgot about anal. It's not my thing, but would be something I'd be okay writing about. I know some really like it, and while it's not my thing, I admit some curiosity in regards to it.
I've actually read some of Xenophillia. While it's a lot more raunchy than anything I've written on here, I did find it quite enjoyable. In fact I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but after reading the chapter where Rainbow goes into heat. Well the writer did such a good job showcasing her need, I could literally feel her lust and would have happily offered her some needed release right on the spot.
But I'm only saying that because that's how amazing a job the writer did showcasing rainbow's lust.

Well in that regard, just write what you want to write. If you have for force a certain scen it is not worth it. That applies to anything you might ry to write. Not just a little fetish.

Something I would like to see is an mlp-pony being treated like a pet by a human. I'm not talking about awful BSDM Master/Slave junk, but a pony willingly wanting to be treated as a human's pet.
I envision a story written by you wherein Celestia or Luna just... snap out of frustration or tiredness one day, "Arrggh! That's it; I've had enough!" and her human lover coming up with this crazy idea where she agrees to be a pet for a time. Celestia/Luna are shocked at first but hesitantly agree to try it.
As I said, no BSDM Master/Pet slavery. Instead we have cute scenes, like...
1. Celestia/Luna being presented with a beautiful, hand-crafted leather collar.
2. Celestia/Luna laying on a couch, her head in her human's lap as he feeds her food by hand
3. The human caressing/stroking Celestia/Luna's coat and mane, scratching behind the ears as she closes her eyes in utter bliss. "There's a good girl..." Also sleeping not in a stable but with her owner, snuggling on bed, clop or non clop.
4. Celestia/Luna dressed to the nines in proper riding tack (ponies see it as lingerie!) being led via halter/bridle through the Palace / Canterlot / Ponyville, ponies give her and her human the oddest looks but they don't care, in fact Celestia/Luna seem proud. (Stallions/Mares start fanning themselves and getting odd ideas! Whoof!)
5. Celestia/Luna winning prizes in some kind of horse show.
6. Celestia/Luna might find things a little bit odd at first but begin to realize that as pets they are absolved of all responsibilities and at long last someone is taking care of them where they've cared for others for so long; it's like a vacation for them.
7. When Celestia's/Luna's time as a pet ends, she almost doesn't want to stop because she loves this simple life... This could be a very heart wrenching or tearful scene where Celestia/Luna refuses her duties and it's the human whom has to convince her to stop being a pet and resume them; it doesn't have to end here, he says, you can return to being my pet whenever you wish; this isn't an end.

When it comes to festishes and the kinky side of romance, I think the golden rule is Safe Sane and Consensual, which goes along with ideas alongside utilitarianism and Ethical Hedonism...as I said before, I'm a very open-minded person, or at least certainly try to be....but like Carl Sagan said, you don't want to be so open-minded that your brain falls off.....in other words, as you asked yesterday, I gave you my honest answer that the particular fetish you were asking for wasn't really one I was crazy for -- I'd still happily read your story, and those who especially love such things will love it even more, but as before, it's not healthy or wise to pretend you are comfortable or ready for something you simply are not; perhaps I will be someday, but that's beside the point.
Obviously I'm speaking very broadly, and not just with this particular topic, but my point still stands and it's why it's wonderful you are asking people ahead of time if they are comfortable with some of the kinkier stuff you are thinking of adding, because, well, different strokes for different folks...as before though, you don't want to let good-intentions like that, actually end up hurting you. The same way you asked if what we thought the pee fetish was yay or neigh, and I mostly neigh....you said you just weren't crazy for BDSM and the others you mentioned....and that's okay -- you aren't an intolerant person because you have limits, nor should you act like you are personally literally okay with trying anything and everything when you clearly are not, nor can you really be expected to be.

That idea has merit. Now I've actually been slowly adding some mild forms of that very idea to some of my stories. Hence, in my Redheart and Celestia stories where their human lovers have been scratching behind their ears. But I read your comment in full, the ideas you list are quite intriguing. If done in the playful sense, there is plenty of opportunity for daww and there could still be clop of no clop, depending on the scenario. I'll be sure to keep that idea in mind. I could have some real fun with it!

9 Celestia/Luna and her human playing outside, rolling in the grass, bellyrubs and tickling... she just absolutely lets herself go.

A blustery stuck-up Noblepony asks WTF their Princess is doing. Celestia opens her eyes, takes one look at whomever it is than snorts softly, shaking her head before letting it rest in his lap again, wriggling a bit, making herself more comfy as her human gives more petting and ear scratchies... Or she snuffles her head into her human's coat, closing her eyes and hiding from the world, foallike... lots and lots of playful fluff and d'awwww!
11. Curious phenomenon; as the pet roleplay continues ancient horse/pony genes and instincts begin to awaken, Celestia/Luna become a little animal-like / a little rough around the edges, etc. for real. (... earlier time when ponies might have been a servant / domestic race for humans? feral? caveponies?) This is treated very gently / gracefully / no abuse of power by her human owner.

As I said, I'll be sure to keep this idea in mind, cooking on the back burning being well kept....in fact I just pasted these two comments of yours onto a notepad file and saved it in my fic folder so I won't lose it. 
OMG...there is so much fun and freedom to be had from this!
You know I could see Daniel and Celestia doing this once they get back to Equestria. Maybe her time on Earth was a nice taste of freedom, but coming back to the bordem and anguish of ruling might make her recall that long 1,000 years alone, and maybe not make her snap so much, but really turn to her human lover and perhaps take a more laid-back pony style approach to things, and with Daniel's knowledge of Earth, perhaps while there he told her about how ponies act in his world, and she might think of trying it now that she's in her home. It's an idea. But I think I'll try such an idea in a practice story that won't risk such a popular fic, until I know I can pull it off, but I'm confident that I could!

Daniel really helps / prepares Celestia for her court before it begins and even in court offers suggestions or advice to Celestia to help her engage with her subjects, not just as queen to subject but as pony-to-pony; helps her regain that deep, genuine interest in their lives/health/wellbeing. Daniel helps settle disputes and genuinely looks into the old histories of the nobles to work out why this noblepony hates that noblepony or why did this rivalry between these noble houses form, or why are someponies fighting over this tract of land, etc. he really helps to soothe ruffled feathers and helps to give the court a very calming atmosphere.
13. Court isn't what it used to be. If some nobles won't be soothed gently, or they insult the princess, bicker and fight amongst themselves, etc... "If you want to act like foals, then you'll damn well be treated like foals!"
--Daniel makes them sit on an uncomfortable stool in the corner for a time. (First strike...)
--He has uppity rude nobles house-bound for a time. (Second strike...)
--He puts the nasty/rude/racist/specist/disrespectful ponies on his lap and spanks them on their rumps! (Third strike; if disrespect continues they're ejected from court for x days!
--Even more disrespects gets them stripped temporarily of Noble rank / title / house and sentenced to work with the ponies they insulted, i.e with Applejack on her farm, etc, with the insulted House / family, etc.)
Court becomes very quiet when Equestria's 'unofficial king' is sitting with Celestia on the redesigned throne. When he raises a hand for silence, you better bloody well shut up and listen!
14. 'Informal' Day; Celestia proposes this and it's a day where all the pomp / ceremony / trappings / rubbish of royalty is set aside. Nobles are politely asked to wear whatever they feel comfortable with, even pajamas or nightwear can be worn. Celestia doesn't wear her regalia, and court becomes a kind of slumber party where the throne and seating isn't used; ponies crash anywhere and everywhere on comfortable mats, and cushions, in sleeping bags, as a 'herd' around Celestia and Luna, etc. as business is conducted. Food served is not the usual small and artsy, fancy faire, but is simple, and very filling/hearty stews, pizzas, hay fries, apple family goods, etc. Ponies with issues / business are encouraged to come right up to Celestia / relax with her / lean against her side. Even her guards, too! Highest 'rank' on informal day is that of wingpony; especially good nobles, Twilight, little foals, etc, who get to cuddle and snuggle beneath her wings as the day goes on. (Sometimes wingpony position is reserved for Lulu and Twily, more d'aww here! Nobles try to push, bump their way under her wings but she'll have none of that; you ask nicely or she'll nip you! Maids / Servantponies are especially encouraged to cuddle beneath Celestia's wings, they work so hard for everypony else...) Informal day is trialed in the palace, becomes very popular, is then expanded into Canterlot, followed by the rest of Equestria/is extended to two days...
15. Celestia uses an invisibility/muffling spell; she and David go to see how ponies of Earth act / are treated; she and he go to some kind of horse show/event where wide eyed she witnesses horse jumping / racing / dressage, etc. She adapts something like it to Equestria? Expands the events of Sisterhooves Social?
16. Celestia/Luna promote/encourage stallion/mare "pet" day?

These are just some more entertaining ideas. I have no idea if I will use all of them, but I will keep them on hand, and be sure to mention your suggesting these to me as I adapt them into a story.
I like the line:
As well as what Daniel will do to the malcontents to help his beloved princess and lover...the always lovely Celestia, keep them in line.
"Informal Day" sounds interesting, but I think Daniel might get jealous if there isn't room for him to snuggle under Tia's wings, unless being the "unofficial king" means that other ponies will want to cuddle with him as well. There are plenty of fun ideas for that...and who knows where all the daww could lead to. So much fluff...and snuggling...my idea of heaven. We'll just have to keep an eye on the readers that start chanting for a giant orgy...not something we want to come from this...right?
But as I've said the whole concept has merit. These comments are just like the ones of Daniel and Tia that you shared in the recent chapter of "You Brighten My Day". 
Thoughts 15 and 16 have plenty of intrigue about them as well. I read a story where a writer had his "you" human ride Celestia around the halls of Canterlot Castle and let her cut loose as a pony. So a similar idea could emerge from this. And I am big on the ear scratching, belly rubbings and general cuddling along with mane stroking...plus it would be great foreplay if you're with the right mare.
