Heya ponyfolks!
First off, I'd like to gives a shout out to all the great suggestions in my last story. Thanks, everypony!
However, I also have some more important news to report. I know a bunch of folks have been asking about our friend Tyro, from Coming to Grips, and I think I can address that question now. Yes, I am working on a continuation of that storyline, called Tyro's Tail, and it will probably be up within the next couple of days.
Keep in mind, though, that this won't be the same kind of story as Coming to Grips. First, of course, it isn't a tragedy, but more because the Tony persona has a slightly different writing style than I do, and I'll be staying true to that as much as I can. Pretty much, you'll be seeing lots of dialogue with regards to actual progression in the plot. Also note that Tony's writing style has another important trait to it, in the narration. The story is told in third person, following a single character, with the narrator's knowledge limited to the character's understanding of the situation. Tony, however, takes a spin on this by periodically changing who that character is; this is most visible in his interactions with Twilight in Coming to Grips. If this style bothers you guys, though, I can change it, but personally, I think it adds a bit of unique flavor to the narrative.
Enough about all that. The new story starts where the old one left off, and occasionally references events in the old story, so this definitely isn't a stand-alone story like Coming to Grips is. I'm considering an introduction explaining all that, but I might just put it in the description. In any case, here's to Tyro's Tail being a success!
