Today I sat down to play some SC2 HoTS, and then I looked over at my Fimfiction stuff folder and said to myself, I need to get some writing done. I wrote a little over 2000 words finishing chapter two. Not the most I have ever put out in a day, but you need to start somewhere to get back momentum.
On my missing money: Not much really has happened. The insurance people didn't really need as much proof of the theft as I thought they would have, but for good reason. They only cover up to 200 dollars of stolen cash unless a previous different amount is negotiated, to make matters worse, our deductible is 150, meaning the insurance gave me a whooping 50 dollar check. The police aren't returning our calls, or doing much of anything else for that matter.
Still though what bothers me most is not knowing who did it. If I could know, then I would gladly give up the money. It saddens me that anyone that we have let in our house would steal from us.
On a happier note, I seem to be netting more cash doing odd jobs than normal. My tutoring job at the college is letting me at least maintain my lifestyle with minimum assistance from my grandmother. That coupled with the occasional fixing of other people's computers is really helping me out of this jam. All in all I think I'll make it guys.
Even though the Insurance company, may have not been the most agreeable of workings. I too am glad that you will hopefully pull back from the lost amount.
