So... sex... (this is relevant to Star-Crossed)

I've finished the new chapter of Star-Crossed, and it is in the process of being edited. It should be out sometime in the next week at the latest, but my editor has some stuff goin' on, so I don't fault them if it takes a little longer.

It has sex in it. I didn't intend for this story to have sex in it, but the way I write, the story guides itself, things happening that I don't anticipate ahead of time. This time, one of those things was sex.

If you find the idea of romance leading to sexual encounters somehow offensive, then I don't know what to say. On the one hand, I consider myself something of an artist (albeit not a very good one), and it is said that artists should never apologize for their work. That being said, I'm nothing without you guys, and I would like to alienate as few of you as possible.

So, for those of you who are familiar with the story Green, by Steel Resolve, I will be doing something similar to that. There will still be sex in the chapter, but the... um... spicy parts will be contained in a separate story, so those of you who wish to read it can, and those of you who wish to not touch that content with a ten foot pole don't have to.

Once again, sex was not a goal for this story. The characters just made it happen. It just... made sense as I wrote it. I am a writer, and I write what I write because it wants to be written. Throw stones if you will, but I stand by that.
