More Updates for my Awesome Readers!! · 1:46am Mar 12th, 2013
Hey everyone...sorry for the lack of updates. Work decided to spring a surprise 50 hour work week on me, most of which took place during my last two nights. I did a 12 hour shift and then was grateful that we got out almost two hours early the last night, but it still left me beat. So sadly, I didn't make much progress at all this weekend. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of delays. I'm not stressing over it, just rather annoyed. After all, writing is my passion, my stress relief and my favorite pastime.
I'm still going to need at least two or three more days till I can post the first two chapters of my new 2nd-person Twilight Sparkle Romance. I didn't have a chance to start my alicorn Twilight story. But I will get to it. Also Derpy Fan 4eva voiced a desire for me to do more of the one-shots that I promised. And I certainly would like to get to them. I've got quite a few that still need attention:
1. "Stand by your Human" - Starring Rarity
2. "Making the Rainbow Shine" - Starring Rainbow Dash
3. "A Hearth's Warming Anniversary" - Starring Vinyl Scratch (The Title will most likely be modified)
4. "The Sweetest Dreams Happen at Night" - Starring Princess Luna
And that's just one shots. I also should work on the sequel to "More Than Their Customer" as well.
Aside from being tired from work, you'll have to pardon me if I'm don't sound my normal chipper self. In my tired state an off-the wall comment on my Celestia story just really left me feeling blitzed. If you want to see it, check out comment numbers 499 and 500. Never have I felt such hate from someone's opinion. I'm over it and know they were just out to troll. But it feels hurtful when someone accuses me of plagiarizing my Celestia fic from my Luna fic. I know the two are similar, but they are hardly the same. I was touched to see that two of my readers had down-voted the comment before I even read it. So I suspected it wasn't going to be good, but man, when you're tired, it can sort of sneak up on you. Though on the bright side, in order to attract a nasty comment like that, must mean I am progressing as a writer. =D I'm sure many of the New York Times bestsellers faced their share of hate on the path to success. So, needless to say I will prevail.
I'm still excited about my new Twilight story and think those of you that really like Twilight should enjoy it greatly. Well, I'd better get going, but I have some more Twilight art for you. Enjoy and thank you as always for your support. One last thing, I'm glad to see many of you loved the latest chapter of "You Brighten My Day". I can hardly wait to work on the next chapter! It was awesome to see the number of vote-ups take off from 611 to 659!! And the story now has 903 readers following it! That's amazing! =D Thank you all!!

Happy that you are trying not to let nasty comments like that person's bring you down....it just isn't worth it, and as you say, they are just out to make trouble rather than actually critique in a fair and respectful manner -- it's not worth getting worked up about something like that, you are better than that.

People can be so rude and inconsiderate. I understand people have the right to voice their own opinion and I have nothing against that. What I don't understand is why do some people take it way out of proportin and say the stupidest things. They have no respect on how much hard work you do to write these stories.

Life always has to find a way to bite ya in the ass, but a terrible day is always something to call back to for a positive boost. "At least it's not like X day" is always a booster for me whenever I'm feeling weighted down by things. That and Pinkie's smile song.
Anyway, pal. Sorry to hear about trolls getting the better of your state, I'm sure we're all going to go and reign justice in the form of a downvote!

Anyway...yes ur Luna fic and Celestia fic r somewhat similar, but I think that's a good thing. Because I think there's a possibility u could have a cross-over between the 2 stories or combine them together as 1 if u wanted to...I think, idk...

Don't forget there was something with Pinkie Pie and some stallion who's name escapes me at the moment (I recall he was originally going to be a colt, though...). Oh and maybe Derpy and Fluttershy too! Just food for thought!

The 2nd-person stories are ie: the Redheart, Spa Ponies Aloe & Lotus, as well as my upcoming Twilight, and most of the others, except the Nightmare Moon fic - "Cherishing the Night" that's in an alternate universe. And I am entertaining the idea of merging my Luna and Celestia fics, thus making them both part of the same universe.

Second, I had the same conversation with my mom. How does one plagiarize oneself? And I have to agree, I like the similarities between the two stories, it makes them relatable, and yes it does leave the option for them to be merged, which since last August is something I've been kicking around. I just need to finish my Luna fic first. A lot of story elements that need wrapped up there first.

Looking at Shadow scroller's comment and his page, I think he/she is a troll because he/she is following you probably to keep trolling on your stories. Also, his/her comments don't really make sense. It's not possible to plagiarize yourself. And, he/she doesn't know how to spell Celestia. This person is probably just jealous of how good your stories are.
Speaking of which, I still need to read your newest chapter of your Celestia story.

I'm kicking around having Dinky be there. In many stories I've read Derpy is a single mom. Having Dinky around would just allow the chance for more dawwww moments. But I could have Derpy be single. Maybe I'll hold a vote and ask my fans to help me decide.
BTW, Fluttershy is one of my favorite of the mane six, next to Twilight. So I relish the idea of writing a story about her. I just need to brainstorm some ideas, but I could always borrow from an unfinished 3rd-person Fluttershy story I started late last spring that never went anywhere - mainly due to time.

The best part about that story is that it's already outlined. I just need to write it. And one key thing "Making the Rainbow Shine" will showcase, is a side of Rainbow Dash no one has ever seen before. I've seen signs in the show and in the stories of others that leave me to suspect that she's a lot different behind the closed door of a bedroom. And even though she is full of attitude, I welcome the challenge of writing about her. Besides, I've visually seen a side of her that suggests she is able to pull off adorably cute and at the same time she can come off with a strong level of sensual sexuality that would make for a very interesting romance.
