Something I don't understand...

Well, firstly, it has been a while since I've been on here. Mostly because my life has pretty much been hell recently with all the schoolwork and everything else I have. I just don't have the time.

Second, why is it that some people think they need to explain things to me multiple times in order for me to get it? It can be really annoying and I just wonder if they think I'm not as smart as I really am. It just gets on my nerves sometimes.

Lastly, why do some people find it so hard to believe that I actually have emotions and will sometimes (believe it or not) cry. In comparison to other people, I actually have much deeper emotions, I just tend to not openly show them. If you actually see one of my emotions, consider yourself lucky. If I just meet you, I won't show emotion for possibly months or sometimes even longer until I actually get to know you and get comfortable being around you. Some people just don't understand that and refuse to actually understand me. They think just because I don't show emotion that I'm some soulless ginger. When, in reality, it just means that either you're not my friend, or I'm not comfortable opening myself up to you. That may sound harsh, but its true. If I were open up to someone, it means that they are one of the (possibly three or less) people I would consider a true friend. If you have me as a true friend, I don't mean to sound narcissistic but, consider yourself lucky, because you will have a friend for life and I would do anything for you. I could go on, but I'll stop here. Sorry for the long-winded journal, I just thought I'd throw this out here.
