Some Overanalyzation

I'm not sure if anyone realized this, but I haven't seen it anywhere, so I'mma post this anyways.

So, it's been speculated before that Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark represents her five friends as the smaller stars, and her as the center star. I think that someone established it as canon, but I'm not sure. Citation needed.

Anyways, according to the legend of Nightmare Moon, it was said that "the stars will aid in her escape". Well, obviously that means actual stars will help to free Nightmare Moon from her prison in the moon, right? I don't exactly think so.

I think that the prophecy was that Twilight and friends (the stars) would change Nightmare Moon back into Princess Luna(will aid in her escape). The prophecy wasn't talking about literal stars, it was very clever writing and foreshadowing of the elements reverting Luna back to normal.

Just my two cents.

Well, that is what the animation suggests, but since prophecies tend to have multiple applications, and since I'm a fan of overanalyzation myself, and since I also like deeper meanings to stuff, I find this very interesting.
