So yeah first fanfic... what have I done. Also, Season 3 thoughts.

So guys, just published my first fic to the sight and flame shields are up to the max (might be needed very much). Hopefully it pleases people and I am not laughed forever from the internet until I am forced to write about Sparkely Vampires.
Anyways, after that pointless reference, something I wanted to talk about is Season 3; I've seen a LOT of hating on Season 3 and I honestly don't understand lots of it; I understood the issues people had with Alicorn Twilight even if personally I thought it was a good idea but what about the rest of the Season?
The 2 parter? Honestly, I thought it was great, not as good as Return of Harmony but then again, you're having to contend with an episode with Discord versus an episode without him, it's gonna be difficult to beat. Still though I thought King Sombra was a cool villain; I know he didn't do much, but that's precisely WHY I liked him, a villain can demonstrate his strength, flex for the camera and all, that's nice but what can really sell a villain is when the characters we know as brave and badass are scared by him; Shining Armour, The Crystal Ponies and especially Celestias reactions to him make a very credible threat on its own. Just like Discord, he was already threatening even before he appeared properly onscreen, and in both cases their actual appearance only adds to their effectiveness.
Anyways, comment on reasons why you didn't like the Season or if you did what you liked and why you think lots of people didn't; I love discussions from my fellow fans on topics like this, it's always fascinating to hear another viewpoint.
