Might as well post this right away, because fuck it.
First off, I am really really sorry for neglecting the project for... oh man.
Chapter 6 started off so well, I got most of it written shortly after chapter 5 was published and I thought "Hey, I might get this done within a week or two from Chapter 5!", but then I completely lost interest in STC altogether and went on to prioritize other projects and things.
I'm not going to go into too much detail, but during this downtime I've been doing more crap than I did while writing Chapters 0 through 5.
One of the major things I've done (but perhaps not the most time consuming *coughwastingtimeplayingdwarfortresscough*) is practicing the art of pony, mostly for the purposes of being able to proudly say "I drew my own story logo and I am damn proud of it".
Progress on that?
Fantastic, went from drawing ponies like shit to being kinda decent, just really a matter of effort at this point and getting the right concept prepared, I don't just want to say "I drew it", I want to say "I drew it and it looks GOOD".
The rest is mostly personal crap: quit smoking, joined an RP group, joined a Planetside 2 outfit, suffered from sleeping disorders, fought with school regarding my atrociously high absence caused by sleeping disorders, took up smoking again... the list goes on forever really.
Oh jeez... What to say about chapter 6...
I felt so bad reading through it that I felt a little obliged to add a disclaimed at the start.
Maybe its me getting soft... or maybe it really is too grimdark.
That's... really all I can care to say right now.
For the rest, regarding chapter 7...
I could really lie out of my ass and say something along the lines of "I promise I wont neglect STC from now on and that Chapter 7 will come out sometime in April! 
", but I am really getting tired of my own bullshit, so I am just going to drop whoever wonders about STC with this and be on my way.

). Glad to hear that you stopped smoking, not so much that you started again. It killed my grandfather, I'm a bit against it.
