In fact, taking into account editing time, I'm about 25% done with Consequences of Unoriginality: Twilight Emeris. Worst Boss Name Ever.
Now, some things:
1). Consequences of Unoriginality has it's own TVTropes page! Hells to the yes! *crosses that off the bucket list* This makes me stupidly happy for no good reason at all.
2). I just recently saw Magical Mystery Cure, which prompted a few reactions. One of which was "Holy shit! They actually went there!" and another was "... damnit, this is... problematic." While decently implemented, it confirmed a few theories of mine but also threw a monkey wrench in my long-term plans for CoU. Nothing in the immediate arc is going to be affected, but some of my long-term plot points need to be reworked and rearranged. This won't slow down updates or anything, but gah.
3). I've finally been able to find the time and inspiration and flow to writing this chapter. For the past month one part or another has just been eluding me at some point or another. Now though? Got it all goin finally! Just the past two days I've written about 1,500 words in comparison to the past two months of 2,000.
4). The story still needs freaking cover art

CoU is so great (IMHO) that I have re-read it in its entirety 3 times thus far!
May have to make that 4 when the new chap comes out

You do realize that alot of fanfics are ignoring the end of Season 3 right? I personally ignored it because it left too much unexplored. I won't be able to properly judge the effects of alicorn Twilight until Season 4 airs and actually goes in depth with this. Since the new development in the end of Season 3 was not delved into, there is sufficient argument to ignore it for the purposes of fanfiction for the time being. Don't worry about re-working plot points on this. (unless you absolutely want to...)
