The Subordinate Six: Progress Update · 12:08am Mar 7th, 2013
Intro
Hello, everyone! How've you been enjoying The Subordinate Six so far? 21 'likes', 24 'favorites'... not bad at all for a story which only made it onto the featured stories box for an hour! Thank you to all the people who read and enjoyed the story, and my apologies to the two people who 'disliked' it. In the future, please leave me a comment on why you disliked one of my stories so that I know how to improve in the future. Speaking of, still waiting on word from EQD. Been a while now, but I know how big their que can get. I just hope I didn't accidentally delete any response emails. O.o
I just have a few things I want to mention before I get back to working on the story. Hopefully you'll read this so you'll know what has changed and what is to come.
Change made to "The Ensemble (4/4)"
First off, I just now made a small little edit to the last part of the "The Ensemble" arc. It's nothing much at all, just a little detail and exchange of dialogue thrown in to make the scene a tad more realistic. No need to re-read it; just know that I've changed it so that the pony responsible for the incident that occurs near the end no longer gets off completely scott-free, and that there will quite literally be a price to pay. Details on HOW this price is paid will be given in Episode 2. Speaking of future episodes...
Future of SubSix
Episode 2 has been in the planning for months now. In fact, the basic summary was written on the same day as "The Ensemble" was being thought up. Now that the first episode is out, scenes of episode 2 are starting to be fleshed out, and individual jokes are being recorded as they come to mind. The exact process of events is still being decided on, and I'm struggling in particular to come up with an appropriate ending that will tie everything together. In short, this will be a bit of a big production, so don't expect a release date to be given any time soon.
HOWEVER, because full episodes take a long time to write and edit (and I don't want to release episodes part-by-part as they are completed), I've thought of a way to continue getting SubSix content to readers on a slightly more regular basis. Without spoiling anything, I'll just encourage you to favorite the story if you haven't already, so that you can see when new content is added to it. ;)
That's all
Thank you all again for reading my little humor stories, and I'm glad I could entertain you. Also, I semi-recently added a bunch of other writer's stories to the "recommended" list on my profile page, and I'd highly suggest checking all of them out if you want to read some really great fanfiction.
I can't wait for the next sequels
