Okay, I know I haven't updated a lot lately, but that was because I was busy in college. Test after test after test. Now, I've got a LITTLE time, but I just received news that totally took away my will to update for a while.
Ms. Nancy, founder and director of the therapeutic horse riding facility O.A.T.S (Offering Alternative Therapy with Smiles) and a close family friend of mine, just passed away Monday on vacation in Florida for unknown reasons. There was an alarm going off in the mobile home they were in and she went back in to get her dogs (The dogs are fine, by the way). She apparently was inside for too long. They found her dead on the floor, and nothing to show why.
I'm going to miss her, she and my mom were good friends and she helped take care of me when I was young.
It was from her I first learned how to ride a horse, and she kept teaching me until I could instruct classes and groom, tack, and feed the horses...now the future of O.A.T.S is unknown and uncertain.....
