A short story.....

A Hour in the Life of Strono
Based on real events.

Strono walked into his house after a long day at school and sat down at the type writer to work on a story or two. A little bit later, the door opened and a purple unicorn with three blocks, with the letters A, B, and C on them, for a cutie mark entered the room.
"Hello Strono," She began smoothly, taking off her coat with magic, "Did you have a good day at school?"
"Oh, hey mom." Strono fluttered over to her to greet her, "Ya, school went well."
"That's great, honey. Anything special happen today? Did you make a friend?"
"Uhm, well, we started learning about magic in school, and the teacher, Mr.McMane, got into a big spiel about how science doesn't exist and what not. He seemed really steamed about it." Strono shrugged his wings, "Other than that, nothing interesting happened."
"Oh that's nice." Mrs.Starr flipped her mane out of her eyes as she said this, "Sounds a little boring..."
"Ya, it was," Strono sighed, "Anything happen with you today?"
"Not much." She tsked, "A filly in class got into a shout fest with another filly because she didn't have a cutie mark yet."
"That seems kind of immature."
"Ya, it was tough." Mrs.Starr sighed as Strono walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water, "Oh, by the way... We're gonna get a cat." And many spit takes were spat that day.
