Any advice? · 1:26am Mar 12th, 2012
Hey there guys it's me again! I'm looking into buying a new computer(My PC is super slow and can't run anything + I'm currently using my school comp) and I'm now sure what to buy. I've got about 300 dollars in the pot right now so I'm willing to save. I'm just wondering what I should look for since I've never bought a computer in my life. Any advice would be helpful!(I'm open to macs + windows)
I'm awaiting your responses
here is my advice and you already have enough to get it. I recommend going to wal-mart and get an acer notebook for 250 dollars. I am using that right now and i think it is a great computer to get! It has windows 7 starter edition and it is also fast. That is what i am offering to ya, message me if ya want to talk.
The only things I know about computers is that lollipop is the longest word you can spell on your keyboard with only your right hand, and Macs are not as good as windows.
What do you plan on using it for? Just general bsing on the internet? Graphics design? gaming? All these factor in to buying a computer.

Thanks I'll look into that!
Like I said IRL, the Linux is a pretty good investment. It's pretty well rounded and can work with both Mac and Windows applications, it also has multiple ways to store, so as far as the Linux cares, you still got plenty of room. The only issue is that it has both Mac and Windows elements in it, including some of it's own, so it'll take some retraining to figure it out. But if you put in the time to figure it out, there's very little with what you cannot do with it.
