More Plush Ponies! · 6:42am Mar 4th, 2013
Hello everyone! Just a quick post before I head to bed. As far as my Twilight Sparkle story - "For Whom She Sparkles" goes - I retooled that scene I mentioned and it turned out much better. I've done 1,000 words or so, bringing chapter 2 to about 3,400 words. I've got at least three more scenes for this chapter, then I should be done. Now I may finish editing chapter 6 of my Celestia story first, I'm not sure. It depends on how tomorrow goes.
For now, here are the pics of the new plush ponies I recently got, including the one of Princess Luna I received for my birthday! Twilight is the newest plush pony I added to my collection. I've really enjoyed having her around, since her arrival last Monday. She really helped inspire me as I worked on ideas for my new stories! And, I was quite pleased with Celestia, even though I had to shorten her mane and tail a little. Still, having her around while I worked on chapter 6 was great!

I get them from this awesome seller on ebay - ravegothanimejosh13. He always has a bunch of his plush ponies listed. Now, he goes to a bunch of conventions, so it can sometimes take a little while till they arrive, but in my opinion, they are always worth the wait!

I honestly think my favorite of the bunch is Luna, especially that smile on her face - she seems to have a really small horn though...may have something to do with why Celestia's is so big
, and her crown is bigger too...though she looks all scrunched up.

So these all selling for an average of $70-$80 each, is a lot more reasonable. 
That's what I love about these plush ponies. It's like having one of them with you. I know they might not be the spitting image, but they bring a smile to my face after a long tiring night at work. I'm just glad they aren't as expensive as some plush ponies. Most seem to sell for an average of $300-$500 each (some have sold for over $700!).

Well my folks got me Luna, I saved up and got the other two. I'm just so glad my parents are okay with me being a brony. Well after seeing things on the news and hearing from neighbors and co-workers what some of their kids are mixed up in, my parents don't mind, realizing I could be into a whole lot worse than ponies. And I don't know if you read the caption with Twilight's pic, but I mentioned how the flash hid her cute smile. In person she looks very happy. In fact she's sitting behind me on the foot end of my bed, right now,

Thank goodness I eventually turned 18 and was able to make my own choices from then on, and my dad was able to see there are far worse things I could be mixed up in than ponies.
I know how you feel. When I was little, during the time of the G1 ponies, I wanted ponies figures, but my dad didn't want his son playing with girl toys. So I used to pretend my Matchbox cars and Hot Wheels were the different ponies, trying to find vehicles that roughly matched the ponies' colors.

I think I've seen it on Deviant art as well. I have tons of Luna pics in my Luna folder in my Pony Pic Archives. While a few other mares have been winning my heart, Luna will always have a special place in my heart, no matter what! I really need to work on chapter 11 of my Luna fic. Hopefully I will get to it before too long.
