MangaKamen's Debut

Hello everyone!

I doubt anyone's reading this, but then again, I might as well post up a blog post for the sake of posting something. My name is MangaKamen, of course, if you've read the title or even looked at the author section, then you already know that. In any case, I posted my first MLP story on here last night - Friendship is SHOWTIME!

The story is a crossover with the current Kamen Rider Series - Kamen Rider Wizard. Why did I do this kind of crossover? Well, I've read a lot of Rider fiction, most of it just self-inserts of the authors into the Rider Universe, or into another universe with a Rider's powers. Now, I'll be the first to admit, yes, I wanna be a wizard, I mean, Kamen Rider. Hell, if I wanted, I'd put myself as Kamen Rider Skull. But, as a writer, I know enough to not fall into a trend of bad writing.

And that's why I've gone with this story, I will say this, I will not appear in Friendship is Showtime as a character. Meat shield, possibly. What does that mean? You'll have to wait.

Now, as for why I decided to make this into an MLP story... Well, I think Wizard's lore could gel well with it. Just with a little tweaking, and we've got my story.

Now, I'm gonna say this, you won't believe what I've got planned for this story. You never know what sort of faces will appear, especially with what I've got planned. Only one other person knows what I've got planned, and he's my Beta, and he's not gonna talk. Hopefully.

On a side note, the guy who made my cover art for the story goes by the name of FlairNightz on DeviantArt, he's looking for work, and since he did the artwork for my story, and will subsequently do some other artwork for me. So, if you're looking for good artwork for a low price, he'll do it for ya. Just mention MangaKamen to him, and he'll give you a good deal.
