Hey everybody, I just got back from a vacation at the Outer Banks in North Carolina and now I'm refreshed and will hopefully have a new chapter of The Reluctant Gunman up soon. Anyway, the highlights of my trip were going to see the Wright brother's memorial/museum, that place was really interesting and it gave me some things to think about. And the other was that I visited the island where
I just want to say that the new story fell flat of my expectations. Not only that but I couldn't even see where I was going with the story. In the end I just wanted to toss it. Sorry to dissappoint but it's just the way I feel.

And if I did continue writing it then it would come out halfhearted, and I don't want to write a story where I'm not excited about it. I still love the character and all that, I just didn't like how he was going to blend with the ponies.

28081 Maybe, but the main character becoming ponified thing is used quite a bit. And if I did transfer him into a pony body then I would be tempted to ship him with one of the mane six. Besides it isn't the plot I'm stuck on, it's the way he'll act around them. I don't want to make him too laid back or he'll seem too one dimensional. And I don't want to make him too emotional either.
