Okay, so it’s going to be a while ‘til my next chapter is up, and also I’ve been updating chapters 1 and 2 of my fic.
So… until then I want you to enjoy my first ever List!
Here’s how it will go: There will be a video, followed by my personal thoughts.
Unless stated otherwise, they will not be in any particular order. Here we go
THE PRINCE’S LIST 1: LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Hearts and Hooves Day has come and gone, and I feel like I should do something.
So here is a list of In-Show Songs, PMVs, and fan-created songs all dedicated to that wondrous feeling we label as “love.”
THE PERFECT STALLION

There’s no beating the classics, and the original Hearts and Hooves Day song is no exception! The CMC pull this song off perfectly, and Applebloom’s line at the end is one of the funniest moments in the song (at least to me.)
THIS DAY ARIA

More of a fringe love song due to Cadence’s parts, I still consider this a song about love nonetheless. Plus, Chrysalis is the only antagonist (she was only trying to feed her subjects, so she is not a villain) to get a full-blown villain song, another reason she is one of my favorite characters (Plus she wins for cutest evil laugh)

And so we come to the first PMV, which wins for most forced pony pun. YES, IT IS A LOVE SONG! I repeat from the English version:

HEAVEN’S LIGHT

A perfectly pony-ized version of a song from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, this PMV tugs at the heartstrings because of how it obviously ended.
CARNIVAL CAT VS PONYVILLE

Love comes in many forms, and in my opinion, this holiday is about all of them, whether it is love between lovers, family members, friends, or in this case, a stalker and her victim. This piece by Sand Josieph is the basis for the fic-in-progress, Carnival of a Lifetime, by linksbro1. Dark, depressing, creepy, and the only song of its kind on the list.
DERPY’S LULLABY

A sweet song of the love between mother and child, this lullaby is simply perfect, and even sounds like something from the actual show! Ditzy, you magnificent siren, never leave us!
AUTUMN (DERPY HOOVES)

Performed wonderfully by (should-be) famed Brony musicians BronyDanceParty and Jackleapp, this not only describes Ditzy’s love for her youngest daughter, Dinky, but also how the fandom feels in general about the (Genius on par with Twilight) wall-eyed mailmare.
DADDY DISCORD

A heartwarming what-if situation between father and daughter, the ending is probably only Screwball’s imagination. Well, at least her daddy is free as of Keep Calm and Flutter On!
YOU”LL BE IN MY HEART (Warning: FEELS!!)

SO. MANY. FEELS!!! It doesn’t matter which version it is, this song will elicit some emotion from the viewer (I prefer Celtic Woman myself). Doesn’t it just SOUND like something Twilight would sing to Nyx?

Coming full circle, this song is performed by the Living Tombstone, who is also responsible for many other great pony songs. Silly Crusaders, why didn’t you go to this guy in the first place?

Well, I don't hate you, so no worries about that
I will, however, congradulate you on not spoiling the story for yourself before you read it. the thing is... my story is set in the Past Sins Universe, but only as a background event. the story has not even caught up with the beginning of past sins yet (time in my fic currently- Early fall, Beginning of Past Sins- Right after the Winter Wrap-Up.) I recommend you read it. It was one of the fics that inspired me to write in the first place, and it may inspire you too!
BTW, Which video did make you experience the feels?

See, my problem is, I'm a very self-conscious , obsessive, and occasionally competitive person, so when I hear about super successful stories like Past Sins, I get kind of nervous about reading them, because I know I'm going to be comparing myself to this talented writer and I never get relaxed. So, yeah.

851610 yeah, that confused me to, but it does that because it's programmed to notify you when someone comments on your blog and when someone replies to one of your comments. So when I reply to one of your comments in the comment section of your blog, you get notified for both the comment on your blog and the reply to your comment. Knighty's weird.

851639 oh, yeah. I really like Daddy Discord, mostly because I love Discord in general. The numma numma one was funny too.
851653 Yeah, Pinkie and Discord are AWESOME! especially in those two videos, mostly because Pinkie is just being Pinkie, and because we get to see a father and daughter together again!
I don't think most people realize that Dragostea Din Te (Numa Numa) is a love song though, but I checked around, and it is!
