Scholarship stuff has delayed it a bit longer then when I wanted to, but it's time to return to my writing. Tonight I finish the DGTS chapter, then move on to my other stories.
I gotta admit something, though. As I've prepared to return from my break, I've been doubting how much longer I'll stick around in the pony community. I've made some good friends because of it and had a great time, but with all the crap that's gone on over my break (Twilicorn/The Lackluster Finale and Fighting is Magic being the big 2 that's flustered my Jimbobs), added in with some of my friends starting to leave the fandom, I've been wondering how much longer I'll remain a fan. Plus, there was plenty of stuff going on in Nintendoland, especially with Pokemon. I've been on a huge Pokemon kick over the break. Black 2 is probably the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game since Gen 2. With X/Y hype going on, there's been lots of fun going on in the Pokemon fandom. On top of that, the Year Of Luigi is bringing Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, the sequel to one of my favorite Gamecube games. There's also the new Fire Emblem game out, and that series just kicks all kinds of ass. Not to mention all the Wii U stuff being talked about. I especially can't wait to hear more news about Super Smash Bros Kerfuffle.
But, by some stroke of luck, the very same day I get on to return to writing, this glorious video has been finally uploaded:
The very same day I come to start writing again, the series I get my username from finally uploads its final entry. Coincidence? Well, yes, but it's still neat. Looking at this brings a smile to my face. And with a movie and 4th season on the way, I'm not giving up ponies any time soon. Now, season 4 may decide for me if I do stick around or not, depending on how good it is, but for now I'm not going anywhere.
So, I'm going to sit back, relax, put on some good listening music, and get to writing. It's good to be back.
Good to see I'm not the only one dissatisfied with the season 3 finale. They said it was the first of a three-parter, though. So we'll just have to wait until S4 rolls around to see where they take this. Until then, howeverr, I'm filing Twilicorn under Did Not Happen until further notice, right between Castlevania Lords of Shadow and Hotel Mario.
And I'm glad to have found another Fire Emblem fan! Support Rank A! And a brohoof on top of that!
