Well, I just got back from the hospital. My brother was hit by a truck in a car accident and sustained very bad damage. Took over two hours just to even see him. Luckily, he has stabilized after coming out of the OR and my parents and I were able to see him.
Apparently, he somehow pulled in front of the truck and was hit almost dead on at the side. The driver swerved enough to make it not a direct impact that would most likely have killed my brother. He had to be medevac'd by helicopter to a hospital in the next town over due to his condition. He suffered two fractured vertebrae, 10 out of 12 fractured ribs on his left side, a punctured lung, fractured pelvis bone on his right, spleen damage enough to have it removed, and a few other things that I can't quite remember right now. He has to be on equipment that makes him breath (forgot the name) among other things for at least a few days.
Right now, the only things to really worry about are the possibility of pneumonia setting in, and whether or not he'll be able to walk right after his hip mends.
Due to this, I've given abrupt thought to an idea of a new fic. It will either be of Applejack and Big Mac, or Applejack and Rainbow Dash. I most likely won't bother writing either of these, but it is just a thought. As for now, I am extremely tired and need some sleep.
