A lot of the time, I have stories sitting around on my drive that just didn't make the cut of my standard. I get half way, or less, through them and just stop. Not for lack of trying, but for lack of quality ideas that could drive the story fowards. This can include a poor plan, a faulty idea, or even simply that the idea was poorly executed.
For this time, however, it was because I'd taken a new low in negative emotion towards the story, that I'd found it boring. I still like the idea of this story, it intrigued me enough to be thinking about it for weeks. But the execution and the way I want to take it, just won't work. If I bore myself writing it, how will anyone else feel reading it?
So without further adieu, I present to you: By Fate of Who I'm Not. [Dark][Sad][Alternate Universe]
It's very likely that this story will not continue from this, however, mayhaps you'll enjoy it anyway.

Posting up until Chapter One, if it's over a thousand words, is all you need to do. The story makes for a great one-shot.

Funnily enough, you're not the first person to say that. It is postable as a one-shot, at 2300 words. I suppose I could clean it up.
