Reflections on the First Week of Herald of the Night

Well, as I reach the end of my first week in writing this story, I can honestly say I'm surprised, and pleased, with the reception this story has received thus far. Of course, I'd enjoy it more if I had the freedom to write more about the Lunar Kingdom, but seeing as how the central character has left the Moon, I think I'll find that rather hard to do aside from the occasional Luna cameo.

Reflections on the First Week of Herald of the Night · 10:19pm Feb 7th, 2013

Well, as I reach the end of my first week in writing this story, I can honestly say I'm surprised, and pleased, with the reception this story has received thus far. Of course, I'd enjoy it more if I had the freedom to write more about the Lunar Kingdom, but seeing as how the central character has left the Moon, I think I'll find that rather hard to do aside from the occasional Luna cameo.

Also, a side note, if people are wondering/complaining about the brevity of certain chapters, it's because I update at such a rapid pace and publish a chapter for every time I sit down to write for a single session. I write each chapter in a single go and try to wrap up each section in a clearly divided section, like scenes in a film.

This brevity, of course, led me to my Interludes. My way of talking about the AU I've crafted without having to actually follow the direct sequence of events contained within the normal chapters, which already have enough to cram into them.

Now, after each Interlude, I will be taking a short break to work on some other projects that demand my attention, as well as focus on the daily work that my job requires. But fear not, I shall return within acceptable time parameters. Perhaps even less than a week. Maybe even just a day. Depends how long I can force myself to take a break for. I love this story and I love writing it.

Again, I'd like to thank everyone who's shown their support so far, and I shall see you soon.

You could just write a short story about the Lunar Kingdom using an OC.

807196 I'll probably end up writing a side story once I'm sufficiently far into Herald of the Night.
