AND MY FIC HAS 12 LIKES AND NO DIslikes and it still has not become popular! I always thought, if ZONLY I could write a fic with no dislikes, SURELY I'd become a big name, BUT IT HASN'T HAPPENED. It's 12-0, but NOTHING.
AND EQUESTRIA DAILY IS PROBABLY RUN BY KITS, WHO IS ALWAYS PLOTTING AGAINST ME TO BE MORE SUCCESSFUL AND BELOVED EVEN THOUGH wait I don't want this to turn into a silly RANT that would be crazy. Anyways my point is WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO LOVE AND TOLERANCE?
AND MY FIC STILL ONLY HAS 12 LIKES AND THE STUPID HUMAN AND CLOP FICS KEEP getting featured but mine isn't. Whoops that stupid caps lock keeps turning on aT RANdom.
And these PANDA showed at my house and they were all

For every time that a clopfic makes the feature box and your story doesn't, why don't you add a notch to your belt?

805832 Yep. The feature box sucks. That's why I'm trying to make a new fic (based on A Comedy of Terrors) as amazing as possible and send it to EQD. I've learned from my mistakes made with A Comedy of Terrors, and this one will be WAAAY BETAR
805845 I'd like to submit this new story I just wrote to EQD, but it's too short. I'm thinking about writing a bonus chapter, but I gotta think of a justification for it, since the currently ending is kinda final.
But hey, maybe it'll make it to the feature boaahahahahaa sorry I made myself laugh with the funniness of that thing I just said.
805855 Feature box, are you kidding? Feature box stories seem to be rated by how much people want to see them, not how good they are. I mean, your story has to be about either Shining Armor getting it on with Twilight, the wacky misadventures of Vinyl Scratch and Octavia, a purple-as-fuck prose story about Celestia and Luna after everypony else dies, or copious amounts of sappy romance tied up with a ball of clop-twine and then dipped in out-of-character chocolate.
That's why A Comedy of Terrors and City of Brass never got featured. Not because of minor instances of repetition or punctuation hiccups, but because there wasn't enough clop and background ponies.
