my personal head-cannon regarding changelings

well title is self explainatory so ill get right to it

first of all, they are made of magic and therefore are resistant to it (not magic PROOF magic RESISTANT)
second, they are slow both on the ground and in the air but are more agile then a pegasus
third, they are resistant to external injuries and are very good at inflicting physical injuries
magic is basic and very limited, levitation, stun, maybe a mind altering spell and a shield spell
holes in there legs are for identification from changeling to changeling (like a fingerprint)
have a relitivly short life span (pony 80 years Changeling 25)
the colour of there back is to show what hive they are from
three classes (queen, Guard, Drone)
Queen, head of the show, connected through the hive mind and comes into power by eating or exiling the previous queen
Guard, rarely if ever leave the hive are larger and dont have wings basically there for reproduction and are genderless are the only changelings who cant talk
Drone, genderless the ones we see in the show
love refills there mana
food fills there belly
construction is basically a shell that the guards make from that green stuff except black and then chrysials makes a soul and uses binding spells to mould it with the shell
fangs=venom which causes paralysis
can become independent
don't have the capacity for major emotions just basic ones like happy sad angry etc
