You've made your selections and suggestions, and now it's down to this. I have selected the four most popular names, and it's down to these final suggestions. Tiebreakers will be performed by random citizens or hobos I find on the streets.

Here are the names:
Artificem
This is Latin for 'Builder' and 'Architect,' words very fitting to a Minecraft miner. Being as Equestria shares many similar ties with ancient Greek and Roman culture, it's not surprising they would have their own dead languages similar to our own. It's quite fitting for a forgotten language to name a wanderer without a name.
Steve
This, as many of you know, is the default name of the player in Minecraft as stated by the game's creator, Notch. Actually, it's 'Steve?' but that's semantics. It's a name many are familiar with, so it's understandable and even expected that it would be a suggestion.
Crafter
My placeholder name proved an unexpectedly popular one at the polls. It is understandable for this name to bear some allure; many ponies are named after what they are best at. A crafter crafts, and there is none better then our nameless miner.
Daedalus
When I saw this entry, I almost said screw the polls and made it the official name. This was one of the most well-researched posts I've received, and I'll just let Reader Reviewer do the explaining the purpose of this name, for I couldn't have done it any better:
For starters he was a legendary craftsmen and artisan of unparalleled skill, whose accomplishments are nothing to scoff at. First of all Daedalus is credited with creating the agalmata, which were moving statues of the Gods that were so incredibly lifelike that even famed Greek philosopher Plato himself couldn't fault them. Which is no easy feat when one considers Plato's infamous ability to nitpick everything...philosophers am I right guys?
Daedalus wasn't all guts and glory though, this guy had to use his impeccable crafting skills to solve many practical problems (much like a certain character "Wink Wink Knudge Knudge"). Whats that you say?! King Minos of Crete needs a place to send sacrifices to? Daedalus goes and designs/builds a flipping inescapable Labyrinth, complete with a blood thirsty Minotaur. Later on King Minos was so scared of Daedalus sweet skills that he imprisoned him out of fear. But what does Daedalus do? Does he freak out and give up? Hell no, this son of a bitch goes and crafts a pair of wings and flies to freedom. Eat your heart out Wright Brothers.
So why would the Ponies choose to name the Crafter "Daedalus" you might ask? Aside from the obvious connection of the skill sets and traits that these two characters share, that still leaves the issue of how the Ponies would make the name connection. The answer is so simple you probably haven't even realized it, but its okay I will let you know. The MLP universe is rooted in Greek mythology, Pegasi, Hyrdas, Tartarus, even Cerberus. Would it be such a stretch of the imagination to consider that a Daedalus type figure was once part of Pony mythology?

I say it makes the most sense, and its my favorite of the bunch, simple, but not as overused/abused as steve is.
Can't make up my mind between Crafter and Steve :/ On the one hand, Steve is the name of the guy in minecraft and I already feel somewhat attached to that name. On the other hand, Crafter is short, sweet, and to the point, still hints at his strange abilities and gives them the appropriate mystique without getting dragged into more bombastic territory like I feel Artificem and Daedalus do, not to mention that it is pretty easy to figure out why the ponies would call him that.
Let me flip a coin... Crafter it is.

While Daedulus is cool, too, I have no idea how the guy himself would get to Equestria, and if this was a pony version the name would be slightly ponified.

Again, I gave my reasoning for "Steve?" on the other blog.
Basically, using his own made-up language, he tries writing "this is me" under a picture of himself, and with no language to connect with originally, the end result is something like STeVe?, which Barricade then calls him. Name sticks.
That's just my way it could work.

As much as Daedalus sounds awesome and IS awesome, I still go with...

It's not just the reason that I imagine the crafter just like I would imagine humanized Steve. But also because he acts like he does in this.
We players always go to the fight like freaking mad man's, or then just run away, which leads Steve to become very emotional around those who he thinks are his enemies.
Now make him do a pixel-art version of someone :D
