It is done!+Episode Review Putting Your Hoof Down · 8:45am Mar 5th, 2012
Hey all,
So it's all here and uploaded, shortly before midnight Sunday. Boom. It is a whopper, just two words shy of 5,000. It's a bit more relaxed than some of the other chapters, a deeper look into the memory.
Now, I obviously haven't looked it over as many times as the previous parts, so it may be a little bit rougher.
So I was all set on letting EQD pass me by, when Derpgate happened. No need to reiterate that: I've written about it and my position on it before.
So know the door is open again, and I intend to try my damnedest to get this up on EQD. So in the near future, expect much polishing and some revisions. Part Six (The Amazing Ditzy Doo) will be put on hold for a while while I do so.
That being said, if you want to help out by reading over the story and spotting for errors and such, I ask only two things:
1. Please at least check, in some fashion, that your correction is, well, correct. Google the word or grammar rule real quick to avoid false corrections.
2. Please send a note (or private message) rather than commenting on the story directly. I don't want to clog the comments section with corrections that will be immediately remedied.
So, Episode 19. I almost died in the opening when Angel womanizes Fluttershy (00:52). All I could think of was: make me a sandwich woman. So I made a gif of it! (http://poinger.deviantart.com/#/d4rvw6t)
When Fluttershy is all assertive and complains about getting the wrong mail (13:45 ish) I was so scared. I thought it was going to be Ditzy for sure, just Derping up the mail. But Hasbro was wiser than that and put in an old mailpony instead.
In that same vein, woo! You now have mailponies to picture whilst reading Part 3! Thank you, Hasbro.
Wow, what happened to honest salesmen (4:00 onward)? Applejack would have a heart attack!
Best part of Episode: Fluttershy stands up to Angel at the end (21:10). Fluttershy is my favorite of the mane six, and it was always struck me as kinda sad that Angel treated her so poorly. Once that ends, nothing stops the kindness!
