to show you how bad my luck is, went to the DMV to get my license and the person who drove me there was one of my battle buddies wife, who was about 6 months pregnant at the time, we arrived way early and she wanted to go to the craft store next door.

After about 40 minutes I we walked out, me carry six or seven bags for her, and go to her car, only to see that her times had been slashed, and pissed on. And mind you, it was about 1230 at that time, and parked in the DMV parking lot next to a line of police cruisers.

SO, I ended up pushing her car to the tire place about a mile down the road, payed for her new tires because she didn't have the money at the time to get them herself(and yes, they did repay me) and when I got back to the DMV, still on time for the appointment, they refused to see me for whatever reason......

That is my luck in a nutshell

okay then, how about a few days ago when we were doing an air assault mission and when the chinook flew over the chow table was lifted up and flew over the two soldiers between me and it and smacked me clear in the face, knocking me over, leaving my left hand purple(bruised it through my hard knuckle gloves)

oh, the good news is, the swelling only lasted like two days, and it's finally stopped hurting to move my fingers sometime earlier today
