Yes, I'm not dead, and I have news to share. An Old Mare's Tale (as part of the rewrite I'm shortening the title) is still in production, the main reason it's taking so long is I intend for the chapters to be significantly longer (8 to 12 thousand words per chapter). Before I can do that, though, I need to figure some crap out. The most pressing? What Gadgets' cutie mark should be! Seriously, I am at a complete loss as to what would accurately represent the insane little inventor. So please, for the love of Celestia, give me some ideas!
I could also use some suggestions for what Mira should look like, I decided her original design had me using too much red and since I was never really happy with her appearance to begin with, why not change it? Again, leave suggestions in the comments below. Your comments fuel the story, so comment as many times as you want to, the more positive reinforcement I get the faster everything will go. Yes, your approval feeds me! It feeds my hunger! Mwahahahaha!

Gadgets' cutie mark should either be a clockwork sentry gun or a greasy, golden wrench.
Follow the deathsmith theme, guessing crossed wrenchs and in between them flames with a pair of eyes coming from within.
