I apologize that I'm taking so long with Chapter 3 of Pinkie and Pinkamena. :(
So, here's a sneak peek for the chapter to tide you over!
"We're almost there!" Twilight panted as she and Buttercream turned another corner. "Just a few more....Oh no...."
The place was a disaster. The door was hanging on its hinge, and the windows were broken. There were signs that a struggle had taken place just outside. And worst of all, there wasn’t a single sound. Nothing but the pounding of Twilight and Buttercream’s hearts. Swallowing hard, they cautiously approached the gaping doorway.
The inside of the house was even worse. The furniture was knocked over, the curtains were torn, and in the very center of the room were five terrified ponies. Clyde, Sue, Blinkie, Inkie, and Surprise were all huddled together, their eyes wide and their bodies trembling all over. Twilight slowly trotted up to them. “What happened?” she asked.
There was no answer. The other ponies stared at her like they’d seen a ghost. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of silence, Sue opened her mouth, but only nervous sounds came out. She seemed to be trying to say something.
“P-p-p-p-p...Pink...Pinka...mena...”
