What are your thoughts?

If someone wrote a crossover but owned one of the things being crossovered, what would your thoughts be at that time?

Please expand on that and give examples. I'm not sure what you mean.

When you write a crossover you have to say you don't own any of the franchises like Fallout, MLP, Call of Duty, etc and say who does own it. But what if you saw one where the owner of said franchise wrote one and claimed ownership of one of the franchises.

We have to say we don't own them? Lol, there's so many illegal stories here!
I'd be quite surprised that the owner/s of said franchise wrote a fanfic, but that's about it.
