Amazing title!
*ahem* Just a little update, so to speak. I am almost done Chapter 2.7 and may post by the end of the day. If not, may post tomorrow. If not, you have to wait until Monday-Tuesday. This chapter is a little more non-Rainbow than the last one, focusing on a few other characters instead and is leading to a fun chapter part next and chapter 2.9 will be the fuzziest thing ever and 2.10? MOAR MOTIVATION!
*ahem* I plan to finish Chapter 2 by my Birthday next Saturday, which is March 10th. Who else has a birthday on March 10th? Chuck Norris. Huzzah! *aheeeem* I've got nothing to do on my Birthday though. All my friends are busy, mother will be at work, brother will... be somewhere, and Step Father? Work. I'll most likely get some serious Apple Spectrum artwork done so I can finally try and get myself an actual cover and hopefully attract other authors to me and request artistic stuff from me. So yeah.
Keep your eyes peeled here for any artistic crap and don't forget: Norris is awesome.
Except he made the Expendables 2 rated PG-13. I am pissed.
MORE STORY INFO:
My upcoming story starring Trixie will be posted in three stories, the full trilogy being titled "Dazzling Tales of the Great and Powerful Trixie".
Part 1 is titled "Blazing Run through the Animal Kingdom"; obviously the title is referring to the jungle. The place is run by Rocket Giraffes (oh, I so wish) and starts off after a Train Heist foiled by Trixie and several other characters. The land they travel to is run by Giraffes and Canines, one side being wild jungle and the other being snowy with a mountain separating the two parts. Lions aren't in charge of the jungle area because they're in charge of the uninhabitated wilderness. The story is after said Train Heist, a person onboard who Trixie saves is the canine leader of the foreign country. Arriving in the country due to invitation to perform for royalty, Trixie acts like, well, Trixie. News overnight is that the Giraffe national treasure has been stolen and it's been done by the Canines and Trixie is suspect due to being a magician and just so happens to be in the country during the theft. Trixie defends the Canine leader because, well, she was entertaining him and decides to find the true culprit. Que story.
Part 2 is titled "Great Mountain Pass Pathology", where an odd disease rendering canines unable to growl or bark (hey, this is My Little Pony. I'm going for something that COULD appear in the show), Trixie decides to investigate the matter herself (absolutely, totally no part with being offered a large sum of money and advertising for a show) and discovers that in the nearby mountain lives a dog who has, well, the cure. Que story.
Part 3 is titled "Harmonizing the Land of Snow", where Trixie travels FINALLY to the land of the Canines only to find a Coup d'etat has shifted the balance of power to the culprits behind the theft of the Giraffe national treasure and Trixie and her gang of Ponies and... something else decide that they'll help free of charge simply because they're tired of extorting the country's problems and want the satisfaction of helping. Trixie by this point pretty much learns that her fellow performers that have helped her up to now are more than co-workers and actually friends SO she's much more rightous by this point. With the rebels in power over the Canine lands, Trixie and her friends proceed to help liberate and harmonize the Land of Snow.
That's that. Another story I'm thinking about writing is a Twilight Sparkle x Discord story, a full on ship where Twilight hates the shit out of Discord for what he's done but can't stop herself with his temptations. That's it for now, still plotting.
Apple Spectrum has been completely plotted out by now, so technically it's gone "Gold" in the planning stage.
But yeah, expect Chapter 2 to be done by my birthday on March 10th.
Wow, now I feel extreme guilt for still not getting around to reading the last two chapters... I got halfway through the first one, and even had some edits, but then RL came in and was like NOPE! TOO BAD!
