TL;DR CH7 SotS delayed to Sat 26th · 10:12pm Jan 24th, 2013
I don't like delaying my chapters. It's seriously a very difficult thing for me to miss a publish date (and even as I'm writing this I'm still struggling with it). As a reader, I always find it hard to wait for the next installment, never knowing when it will be. But I also know that sometimes, things take longer than expected and this is one such case.
Chapter 7 of Shadow of the Sun is done, it's actually up on the site (although not visible) right now. I got up at 5AM and went through my final reviews and everything. But I just don't like it the way it is. That's not to say it's bad (well, who knows, maybe it is) but it just isn't what I want.
So, instead of pushing it out in a state I am not happy with, I have decided to delay it a few days and put in some additional work on it. Chapter 7 should go up on Saturday 26th. Hopefully I will have it properly sorted out by then.
Chapter 8 should remain on its regularly scheduled Thursday.
