UPDATES! Sorry for being quiet so long... · 9:59pm Jan 22nd, 2013
I'm still waiting on a certain person to produce his first chapter of Incursion... So in the meantime I think I'll entertain you guys with some fluff!
It's been a while since I last updated, and as a couple of you will remember I mentioned having a comedy in the works, I'm about halfway through the planning phase on that so you can expect to see the first chapter or two of "Game Night" appear in the coming however long.
In the meantime, I'm going to be working on a complete pony adaptation of my favourite anime/manga, Cardcaptor Sakura! Fortunately for me CLAMP has all the lengthy planning/storyline part covered, so it'll just be a matter of converting all the events, settings, and other flibbles into pony! So we have Cardcaptor Cherry Blossom to look forward to soonish, with any luck the first chapter will be up tonight or tomorrow evening.
For those of you who read my particularly emo post about my workplace tormentor, I have some good news. He's leaving! In two weeks time I'll be able to toil to an early grave without having someone methodically crush every ounce of compassion and self esteem I have, and to top it off, I'm working on a one-shot detailing the revenge I claimed concerning my lunch.
Well, I guess that's all I have to say for the moment, if anything else crops up I'll be sure to mention it, cya all soon!
EDIT: Short sample of CCCB!
Blue ripples scintillate in the darkness of nothing, they shimmer briefly then vanish, leaving me back in the shroud of black that makes up the world around me. From the darkness a form begins to emerge, a winged lion on in an aura of deep red. The lion holds a banner above his head that I can't quite make out. Everything seems so distant, so lonely. The loneliness is pierced abruptly by one of the most familiar words anypony could know.
"Who's calling my name?" I mutter distantly. The darkness is fading now, revealing the sprawling city of Canterlot, and most prominently Canterlot Spire standing proudly in the distance, the benevolent magnificence of its golden tipped spire replaced by an unnatural dread, only exacerbated by the moon looming unnaturally close to our fragile world below it. Something awful was happening here. The rest of the city seemed distorted and unimportant, but something struck me about it though it was hard to place exactly what it was that felt so different about the famed streets of the capital.
There's more to come, so stay tuned!
Jigger out.
I forget, we did agree you got original collab to get off his arse right?
He said he got off his arse, I've yet to see any proof on that matter though, I'm generally going on faith with him. Hopefully it isn't misplaced!
