I actually do want to write something based on "Keep Calm And Flutter On". I suppose it's because I've been role playing it with one of my close friends, and the role play has hit a part which would be adorably heartbreaking in a fic. Another reason is the fact Hasbro's reformed Discord looks very fun to write. He still probably has that playfulness and humor, but he has more of a sensitive side than in my fic. I mean, thinking he was going to lose Fluttershy's friendship made him cry. ;-; Da poor baby. He seems to have this sweet timid side that looks like it'd be fun to write, along with his old Discord self.
Another reason I want to write something based off "Keep Calm And Flutter On" is the fact more people would be able to read it. I mean, to read side stories from "Broken Spirit" you usually need to read "Broken Spirit" or you'd be "wait what why is he living with Fluttershy", and certain things. In this case, everyone has probably seen the new episode. Also, it would be fun thinking up a new backstory for Discord and experimenting with him and Celestia. Hehe.
It will be hard writing a less cuddly Fluttershy, not using "Flutter Butter" and feather dusters and all that, but it would also be fun. It'd be the first time I'm not writing a villain redemption fic, cause Hasbro did that part already. XD
More or less, this will be his struggle with redemption. He's Discord, Lord of Chaos, friends with Fluttershy or not, he will have struggles and plenty of trouble fitting in and being accepted that I never had time to really expand on in my fic. It'd probably be more of a relationship developer/drabble series than an actual fic with a true, set plot.
So yep. I think I might do this--in addition to also getting back into "Distorted Worlds" of course. *blush*

Good luck, sounds like a great idea! I haven't seen the episode yet, but I've got to say I am definitely looking forward to it. I have to wonder though how many people saw what the episode was and instantly thought of your story, I know I did. I would imagine you were kind of nervous when it came out.
740483 You have NO idea how nervous I was. I was terrified Broken Spirit would die out--it was the height of the Fluttershy and Discord fandom, which I basically helped create. XD However, it did the opposite and instead advertised my fic. XD I've been getting more reviews and favorites since.
